This is an in-person RN position.
We have roles at both Geisinger Wyoming Valley and Geisinger South Wilkes Barre, providing on-site support to inpatient care teams.
Job Duties At Geisinger, you won’t just have a job—you’ll have a purpose.
As an RN Hospital Case Manager, you’ll be at the heart of inpatient care coordination, ensuring patients receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place .
You’ll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams while making a meaningful difference in outcomes that matter—to patients and families alike.
You’ll provide on-site support to inpatient care teams in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
A typical workweek is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
You’ll occasionally cover weekends as part of a shared rotation—approximately every third weekend.
At least two (2) years of prior RN experience is required.
The ideal candidate will have prior RN experience in a hospital setting.
Case Management experience is preferred and not required.
The successful candidate must be available to work on-site at Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) or Geisinger South Wilkes Barre (GSWB).
This role is Exempt, salaried.

Job Duties Knowledge of the Magnetic Resonance imaging process and safety in the Magnetic Resonance environment.
Provides protection to patients and personnel in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
Prepares and positions patients for Magnetic Resonance procedure; thoroughly explains exam and answers patients' questions.
Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures including neuro, body, and extremity, following protocols set by a Radiologist.
Performs venous access on all patients requiring IV contrast administration as directed by a Radiologist.
Enters necessary data into Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite, and Picture Archive Communication System Image Management Systems.
Processes images as necessary.
Ability to identify anatomy on images.
Performs quality control tests of equipment; reports any irregularities.
Notifies Team Leader and appropriate maintenance personnel of equipment malfunctions.
Shares the responsibilities for ordering supplies; notifies appropriate personnel of supply levels.
Acts as a Radiology liaison; provides radiological support to physicians as requested; refers problems to Team Leader.
Imaging exams and procedure tray set up require access and handling of non-controlled medications.
