Great company culture! Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Permanent Controller for our Manufacturing division.
This exciting role is integral to our company's financial health, as it involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting Research technical accounting issues for compliance Support month-end and year-end close process Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Additional controller duties as necessary Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred) Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA) Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment Strong experience in financial reporting according to GAAP Experience with financial statement preparation and budgeting Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections Strong leadership qualities and a team player mentality Demonstrated ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used Strong understanding of economic and banking processes Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.
