Job Description:

Onondaga Community College's School of Health, Wellness and Human Services seeks applicants for a full-time tenure track appointment within the Health Information Technology, AAS and Healthcare Administration AS programs. The major responsibilities within this role include support of the two programs through the development and delivery of content and learning activities in the traditional face-to-face classroom setting, academic advising, curriculum development, committee participation, and assessment of program and student learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

• Use appropriate technology to deliver and enhance learning
• Be innovative in the presentation of lectures and hands-on learning activities that achieve learning outcomes
• Provide timely feedback on students' assignments and exams throughout each semester
• Assess learning outcomes and adapt curriculum to meet learning objectives
• Be responsive to student questions and available for student support
• Demonstrate insight and encouragement in working with diverse student populations, especially students traditionally underrepresented in higher education
• Review and validate current affiliation agreements while exploring new opportunities for partnerships for student internships with local and regional community agencies
• Provide appropriate academic advising to students to support timely degree completion
• Be accountable to meet the needs of the Department and the College, including timely submission of grades and other required materials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Option 1:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management from an accredited college, university, or foreign equivalent
• RHIA credential (Registered Health Information Administrator)

Option 2:

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from an accredited college, university, or foreign equivalent
• Supported by:
• Associate's degree in Health Information Technology with RHIT credential (Registered Health Information Technician) and a Bachelor's degree in a related health field; OR
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics
• Three years of experience in a healthcare delivery system required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching experience at a college level, asynchronous online experience beneficial

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Training of applicators to properly and efficiently install Sarnafil roofing and waterproofing systems in an effort to ensure quality and contractor profitability. Provide training to others as needed.
  • Overseeing the application process by attending job starts and performing in-progress project visits to monitor and enforce proper installation. Assure that application is in accordance with good roofing practices and Sarnafil specifications through documentation with field reports. Help to resolve installation problems and issues as they arise.

This position will provide direct on-site supervision and overall management of commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop the overall critical path schedule with the Project Manager prior to construction and manage that schedule throughout the project including the creation and maintenance of look-ahead schedules. Identify schedule slips and correct independently or in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Develop and maintain the site logistics plan for the project.
  • Perform constructability reviews and inform the Project Manager of any errors, discrepancies, and omissions or challenges with the building design and sequencing.
  • Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each relevant subcontractor.
  • Set up the Redev CNY field office appropriate for the project which may include a job trailer(s), storage container(s), chemical toilet(s), temporary fencing and security, project and safety signage, parking accommodations, and doors and locks for use during construction.

Responsibilities

GTC is looking for a VP, Investment Analyst, who will primarily support the firm's trust solutions functions. This role focuses on monitoring the firm's investment research and manager oversight efforts by monitoring global markets and risks, evaluating and tracking external investment managers, conducting multi-asset analysis, maintaining robust internal documentation and databases, and producing high-quality research tools, reports, and presentations. The Investment Analyst works closely with the CIO, Director of Research, and senior management to ensure alignment with the firm's fiduciary responsibilities and oversight role as trustee. This position demands an understanding of global capital markets, manager research processes, and multi-asset, multi-manager portfolio construction.

Job Functions

  • Stay abreast of global market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks to adapt research priorities as needed.
  • Help evaluate and manage ongoing relationships with outside investment management firms.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and reporting on approved/core investment managers.
  • Maintain internal databases on outside investment management firms to facilitate the flow of information across the firm.
  • Ensure proper documentation on approved/core managers.
  • Participate in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data on a variety of investment classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and real assets.
  • Help drive the development of proprietary research tools, frameworks, and models for evaluating investments and asset allocations.
  • Produce research notes, commentaries, and presentations with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the research team.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.

Requirements

  • Solid academic and working knowledge of the financial/investment industry; working toward CFA designation preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in investment research.
  • Understanding of global capital markets, investment vehicles, and manager research processes
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
