Job Summary: The Quality Assurance RN plays a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of care provided to our residents. This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring the facility’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program, ensuring compliance with NYS Department of Health, CMS regulations, and industry best practices. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the QA RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote clinical excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor nursing practices and provide feedback, coaching, and support to nursing staff to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Participate in audits and analyze data from CASPER reports, PointRight, survey outcomes, and internal assessments to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare QAPI reports, contribute to monthly QA meeting minutes, and follow up on action plans.
Support the Director of Nursing in coordinating and evaluating staff development and education programs.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote compliance and high-quality care.
Maintain accurate records for quality metrics, infection control, and wound care programs.
Serve as a resource for clinical staff, providing guidance on best practices and regulatory requirements.
Participate in state surveys and follow-up processes as needed.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among all departments to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited RN program.
Current RN license in New York State.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred; Master’s degree a plus.
CPR certification required.
Experience in long-term care, quality improvement, or nursing leadership strongly preferred.
Knowledge of infection control, wound care, emergency preparedness, and nursing compliance regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $140,500 - $156,000. REQUIREMENTS:
- Current New York State RN license required
- Minimum 5 yrs. experience in long-term care
- Minimum 2 yrs. DON experience
- Evidence of strong supervision & leadership skills

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.
The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.
The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Prior retail and or management experience is required.
