Your responsibilities will include: 1.
Drafting, preparing, and reviewing legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
2.
Assisting in the preparation of trial by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready.
3.
Managing document review and discovery processes efficiently and effectively.
4.
Utilizing legal case management software to track and manage cases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
5.
Conducting legal research and writing to support case preparation and strategy development.
6.
Liaising with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members to facilitate case progression.
7.
Adhering to all legal compliance requirements and staying updated on any changes in laws and regulations relevant to personal injury litigation.
8.
Providing bilingual Spanish support to clients, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: 1.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a plaintiff PI litigation paralegal.
2.
Proficiency in legal document preparation, trial preparation, document review, and the discovery process.
3.
Solid experience with legal case management software, ideally iManage.
4.
Excellent knowledge of legal compliance and legal writing.
5.
A strong understanding of personal injury law.
6.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
7.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think strategically.
