Responsibilities
- Direct and manage a complete continuum of high-quality care within the care team
- Treat chronic diseases and disorders
- Reviews patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status
- Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history
- Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition
- Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnoses condition of patient
Qualifications
- Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
- Residency trained and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine
- Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
Required Skills
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $238,500 – $392,500. Compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). THE POSITION:
Emergency Nurses treat patients in emergency situations where they're experiencing trauma or injury. These nurses quickly recognize life-threatening problems and are trained to help solve them on the spot. They can work in hospital emergency rooms, ambulances, helicopters, urgent care centers, sports arenas, and more. About the Clinician's WorkdayThe estimated privileging timeframe is 75 days. Case types include General and Orthopedic procedures. Board certification or fellowship is required, and candidates who need to obtain a state license will be considered. Preferred shifts are 8- or 10-hour, with 12-hour shifts available but not ideal. Regular hours are required, with no in-house, weeknight, or weekend call. Overtime is not expected but is offered. Shift times are as follows: 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Providers are expected to work the full duration of their shifts, excluding unpaid lunch, totaling 8, 10, or 12 hours of work. The hospital uses Cerner for charting and has 31 anesthesia rooms.
