The Associate Manager, Programmatic is responsible for effectively supervising a team and set of clients with a focus on accuracy, growth, and innovation. General Partner, mHUB Ventures
mHUB is seeking to hire 2 proven industry professionals with a successful track record in the hardtech / deep tech venture space to join the mHUB Ventures leadership team as a General Partner (GP) of a new early-stage venture fund. The GP will work directly with the other members of the leadership team to build and manage a $200M+ early-stage venture capital Fund focused on investing in Seed to Series B hardtech companies across energy, medtech, manufacturing, physical AI, quantum, and defense tech.
The GP will collaborate closely with the mHUB Ventures leadership team and board, and will play a pivotal role in developing the firm’s expanding investment platform with a traditional early-stage (Seed to Series B) strategy, including raising a series of Funds, driving investment decisions, cultivating relationships with aligned entrepreneurs and investors, and managing a team of investment professionals. The role will require proven investment acumen, the ability to develop new investment theses around industries of focus, and the ability to guide portfolio companies to success.
This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule and travel expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement a firmwide career development framework for paralegals, encompassing structured career pathways, competency models, and clear advancement criteria that align individual growth with firm strategy.
- Lead end-to-end paralegal talent management — from recruitment and onboarding through ongoing development — identifying opportunities that serve both individual career goals and firm needs.
- Oversee the performance evaluation process and establish benchmarking standards that drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the paralegal population.
- Ensure all paralegals have the resources, tools, and support needed to deliver responsive, high-quality, client-focused service.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and all applicable professional development requirements, including CLE obligations and technical competency standards
- Lead regular meetings across the paralegal population to share updates on firm news and active matters, align on priorities, and drive ongoing training and professional development conversations.
Resource Management
- Optimize resource allocation, project staffing, and workflow processes to maximize efficiency and ensure the right talent is deployed to the right matters.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years as a practicing paralegal with a strong preference for trial experience; law firm, government agency, or investigations background also highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced legal education or training — including a J.D. welcomed.
- Periodic travel to regional offices to support collaboration and projects.

A leading organization is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Legal Department as Associate General Counsel. This role will support a broad range of commercial transactions and corporate contracting activities while partnering closely with internal business stakeholders.
The Associate General Counsel will lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of complex commercial agreements and play a key role in advancing organizational priorities through practical legal advice and risk management. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams including property operations, technology, marketing, human resources, construction, development, risk management, and finance.
This individual will also contribute to the development and improvement of contract templates, processes, and policies that enhance contracting efficiency and strengthen governance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of a wide range of commercial agreements, including:

- Vendor and service agreements

Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; Illinois admission preferred or ability to obtain
- Minimum of 7+ years of commercial transactional experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently structure, draft, negotiate, and close sophisticated commercial agreements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a pragmatic and business-focused negotiation style
