A RN House Supervisor who excels in this role:
- Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
- Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
- Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
- Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
- Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
- Manages people using HR/Performance management processes and systems to align individual performances to achieve organizational results.

What we're looking for
Ideal candidates will have prior or current Charge Nurse experience and varied background in acute care settings. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Graduate of a Program in Nursing Discipline required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Current Nevada RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire/transfer
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 90 days of hire

How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) in BHU who excels in this role:
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Proficient in assessing patient conditions and making timely determinations of patient needs.
Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

What we're looking for
Current Nevada State RN license
Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire.
A minimum of (1) year RN experience

How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Prioritizes and organizes delivery of nursing care; accepting a variety of assignments and consulting with other disciplines as appropriate.
- Assists in staff development activities, including orienting, instructing and training others, emphasizing departmental, as well as interdepartmental cooperation and teamwork.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to patient's comfort and privacy and expresses interest in their progress and aids patients and families as needed in times of stress or crisis.
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
What we're looking for
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 14 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90-days of hire.
