• $1,000 per week per diem (for qualified travelers)

Position Overview

SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to support a large-scale data center construction project in Sterling, Virginia.

This role will support the Construction Manager and project leadership team, overseeing site-wide safety compliance and driving a proactive safety culture across all trade partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong data center or large commercial construction experience and hold recognized industry credentials.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance for the project
• Conduct documented daily EHS inspections and audits
• Deliver site-specific EHS orientations
• Assist in coordinating crane activities and high-risk operations
• Participate in and review Daily Hazard Analyses (DHAs)
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Collaborate with project leadership to maintain an injury-free workplace
• Collect and analyze leading and lagging safety indicators to identify trends and implement improvement strategies
• Review and assist in development of EHS plans
• Ensure trade contractors adhere to approved safety plans
• Verify craft worker training and qualifications
• Partner with trade contractor safety professionals and support project safety leadership
• Act as liaison with the client’s risk management team
• Deliver safety training modules as required
• Support positive reinforcement and behavior-based safety initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction EHS experience (data center experience preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital safety management tools
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS or related field (preferred)
• OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification
• One or more of the following certifications preferred:
• ASP
• GSP
• CSP
• CHST
• STSC

Diversified Safety Services is seeking an experienced full-time, on-site Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety efforts on upcoming airport authority projects with a focus on interior fit-out construction projects. These projects require a proven safety leader who can adapt to dynamic environments while ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Safety Culture: Prepare, implement, and enforce health and safety policies that promote a proactive, zero-incident jobsite culture.
• Lead Safety Programs: Develop, manage, and continuously improve site-specific safety programs, plans, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Monitor & Report: Conduct audits, inspections, and field observations; track safety metrics, document findings, and prepare reports.
• Identify & Control Hazards: Anticipate and mitigate risks, ensure corrective actions are implemented, and verify effectiveness.
• Drive Engagement: Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions to maintain awareness and accountability among all site personnel.
• Collaborate Effectively: Partner with clients, general contractors, and project teams to align on safety priorities and compliance requirements.
• Investigate & Improve: Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring documentation and follow-up of corrective measures.
• Oversee Site Operations: Supervise subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with EHS expectations.
• Maintain Documentation: Manage all safety records, reports, and correspondence with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction safety experience.
• Demonstrated success managing safety programs as the lead professional, including oversight of other safety staff.
• Strong expertise in hazard identification, risk mitigation, and program-level safety management.
• Proven ability to handle project-level safety administration, reporting, and documentation.
• Experience on complex, high-security, or Airport Authority projects preferred.
• ASP, CHST, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and requirements

• Experience in one or more of the following: engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina, lift heavy objects, and walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Where required by State/Local law, maintain ASE Certifications in Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), Heating Air Conditioning (A7), Electrical (A6), Engine Repair (A1), Manual Drive Train and Axles (A3), Engine Performance (A8), and Automatic Transmission/Transaxle (A2)

• Automotive Technicians diagnose, recondition and repair vehicles to ensure CarMax customers can drive away feeling safe and at ease
• Work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively
• Build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
