Job Description:
Surgical Technologist will facilitate the surgical care maintaining an aseptic environment. S/He will insures that all required instrumentation, supplies and equipment are readily available. In addition will assists with room turnover between schedule cases.
Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program
Minimum Requirements:
CST certification
Critical thinking skills
Must be able to work in stressful environment

JOB SUMMARY
The RCP shall be responsible for the assessment, planning and administration of all respiratory care offered by the Respiratory Care Department. They shall provide these services to all ages (to include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) in accordance with the Policy and Procedures. They shall function clinically with a considerable amount of independent judgment regarding the delivery of quality patient care, reassessment of patient care needs, education of patient and family, as established by department policy and procedures and with medical guidance.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Graduate of an Advanced Level Respiratory Therapist Educational Program or two (2) year Respiratory college.
Experience preferred - accepting wewly graduated with no previous experience but with 1,000 clinical hours in a hospital setting.
RRT registered by N.B.R.C.
Current CT state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
ACLS, within 6 months of hire
Current PALS or STABLE Certification and NRP certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information. Basic computer skills (including opening/reading email, basic internet use).
Demonstrated knowledge to perform pulmonary function testing. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with

communicate technical or complex information. Demonstrates critical thinking and advanced decision making skills. Must be organized,
