Quest Defense Systems and Solutions is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer to grow with our company. In this role, the engineer will be assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines / Gearboxes domain, will be in charge for the activities related to R&D, test, analysis and characterization of materials, Verify & Validation development processes of new materials, definition of technical specifications of special treatments, failure analysis/investigation on damaged and/or NC components, partnering with other Departments (i. e. Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc) and directly interfacing with suppliers.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support and drive material qualifications of new supplier's turbomachinery hardware ensuring robust processes while supporting supply chain capacity improvements.
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
- Participate on business and industry teams supporting overall improvement in the application of special processes for turbomachinery parts.
- Provide technical and strategic support to supply chain through reviews and pre-production meetings.
- Define technical specifications and requirements.
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Evaluate non-conformances by reviewing, analyzing requirements and acceptability criteria, recommend disposition procedures and maximizing producibility

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

- 4-6 years of experience as materials engineer in aerospace or gas turbine industry manufacturing, quality systems and field support.
- Bachelor/Master of Science in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or Metallurgy
- Some expertise in Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies will be preferential;
- Broad knowledge about different materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric etc) and experience on characterization tests;
- laboratory operations experience (knowledge of procedures, equipments etc);
- Finite Elements Analysis background (knowledge of ANSYS tool advantageous but not mandatory)
- Knowledge about coating / surface treatments processes advantageous but not mandatory
- Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Project Management experience is desired, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Required Qualifications
• At least 2 years health care experience, including at least 1 year of experience working with persons with disabilities/chronic conditions long-term services and supports (LTSS), and 1 year of experience in care management, or experience in a medical and/or behavioral health setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
•Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Clinical licensure and/or certification required ONLY if required by state contract, regulation, business operating model, or state board licensing mandates. If licensed, license must be active and unrestricted in state of practice.
• In some states, a bachelor's degree in a health care related field may be required (dependent upon state/contractual requirements).

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed BPAs varies per grade, as follows:

GL-5/GL-7 $49,739 - $89,518 per year

Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others. A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GL-5, GL-7, GL-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without reapplying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level.

Border Patrol Agents are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, a generous annual and sick leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, a retirement plan akin to a traditional ROTH 401(k) offering.

Duties and Responsibilities

Typical assignments include:

Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR

A Combination of Experience and Education: This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Note: If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GL-9 and or GS-11 grade level. Please refer to the BPA GL-9 - 11 announcement.

Other Requirements

Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.

Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.

Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).

Veterans' Preference: You may also be eligible for an excepted service Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA). The age restriction does not apply if you are Veterans' Preference eligible.

Formal Training: After you are hired, you will be detailed to the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses. Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient with the Spanish language at the Academy.

Job Description Summary:
Electronic Imaging Technician at Van Wert Hospital from 8am-230pm 4 days a week. Works under the direction of the Manager of Radiology Support Services (Imaging Service Center). Conducts technical support to internal and external customers by efficiently performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing Picture and Archive Communications systems (PACS) technology with the ultimate goal of accurate and efficient utilization of electronic/manual image and data storage, reporting and distribution methodologies.

Responsibilities And Duties:
40%Receives calls from external and internal customers who are needing images and/or reports. Assists PACs users throughout the organization in the use of PACS product to improve and assure accuracy of the patient imaging medical record. Educate physicians on use of all applicable software. Assist the radiologist, other physicians, and staff in the execution of their duties by acting as a resource person for timely, effective use of electronic and manual files of imaging records. Provide customers comprehensive technology problem determination and resolution using documented procedures and available tools.35 % Retrieve and/or create patients' electronic folders. Access reports and/or other patient exam data via the RIS, PACS and related software systems. Communicate reports and/or image data to the appropriate physician and other customers in a timely manner. Re-print and package images via PACS, and/or CDs for distribution and delivery to physicians and other customers utilizing proper quality assurance measures.

Troubleshoot, resolve, and document; a) unread studies, b) exam problems within the PACS system, to meet established turn around times of exam availability, and proper exam coding for revenue purposes. Research solutions to problems working with PACS team and Radiology staff. Escalates problems as appropriate to ensure management awareness of problems that are severe and/or require engineering support. Maintain equipment for Radiology Department, such as, printers, computer, fax, etc. and able to delegate to appropriate service area for unresolved failures.

Actively participate on departmental Process Improvement Initiatives and other related duties as required. Recommend solutions to processes, procedures and technology to ensure continuous refinements and improvements in customer services.
