The Business Development Manager
- Custom HVAC position focuses on driving sales growth and building strong client relationships within the custom AHU and DX sectors such as healthcare, data centers, education, and manufacturing.
Client Details My client is a leading manufacturer of custom HVAC solutions for critical environments like healthcare, data centers, and industrial facilities.
They focus on delivering energy-efficient, high-performance air handling systems tailored to meet stringent customer requirements.
Description Develop and implement growth strategies to drive sales of customized AHUs in key sectors such as healthcare, data centers, education, and manufacturing.
Identify and capture new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and targeted prospecting.
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers, and end-users.
Collaborate with internal engineering and design teams to deliver tailored HVAC solutions that meet customer specifications and performance goals.
Create and present compelling proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients.
Negotiate and finalize sales agreements that support business objectives and profitability targets.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine sales strategies and product positioning.
Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management to senior leadership.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional associations to strengthen brand presence and build networks.

Profile Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the HVAC industry; prior experience with custom AHUs or applied equipment is highly desirable.
Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, air handling units, and relevant industry standards.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving growth in competitive markets.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
Ability to interpret complex engineering specifications and translate them into customer-focused solutions.
Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
Willingness to travel as required to support client engagement and business development initiatives.
Job Offer Competitive salary range from $160,000 to $180,000 USD.
15% bonus structure.
