We're searching for a qualified physician to join our team in a growing community near Deltaville, VA.
This full-time locum tenens opportunity offers a predictable Monday-Friday schedule and starts as soon as possible (ASAP) to address staffing needs.
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive non-invasive cardiac care to adult and geriatric patients in a well-established outpatient clinic setting.
Conduct thorough patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order appropriate diagnostic tests to assess cardiovascular health.
Interpret a variety of diagnostic studies, including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
Diagnose and manage a variety of cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide counseling and education to patients on risk factor modification and lifestyle changes to promote cardiovascular health.
Collaborate effectively with nurses, other physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Virginia (VA) medical license and a valid DEA registration (no exceptions).
Board certification in Echocardiography and Nuclear Stress Testing is mandatory.
Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
Minimum of two years of experience in a non-invasive cardiology setting is preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and a comprehensive knowledge base in non-invasive cardiology.

To be accountable for sales growth by maintaining the highest standards in quality, service, and cleanliness with constant focus on profitability.Job FunctionsInterview and hire qualified staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations.Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow. Manage labor costs to meet company standard.Train the management team and crew using current training system. Evaluate performance at company designated intervals. Design a development plan with each employee to improve performance.Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management team and crew. Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as warranted. Assist with crew member duties as needed.Conduct crew and management team meetings as needed to discuss operation procedures, promotions, safety, security, training, etc.Maintain an adequate supply of all products and items necessary to operate the restaurant. Control inventory to meet company Food Cost Variance standard.Maintain reports and records based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations.Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventative maintenance procedures.Responsible for all cash.
