What You’ll Do

· Sell and promote KOMPAN playground and fitness equipment to industry targets in your region, becoming an expert in design and functionality

Advanced Practice Provider – Pain Management (Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant)

Location: Multi-site Pain Management Practice (SNF/LTAC + Clinic Coverage)

Reports To: Medical Director / Practice Administrator

Position Type: Full-Time


Position Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will deliver high-quality, patient-centered pain management services across skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), long-term acute care hospitals (LTACs), and clinic locations. This role includes routine patient rounding in post-acute settings, providing provider coverage during PTO/leave, and performing specialized “Greenlight” visits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimization of patient care plans before procedures or medication coordination.

The APP will collaborate closely with physicians, clinical staff, facility teams, and administrative teams to ensure timely, compassionate, and compliant delivery of pain management services.

Schedule & Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Rounding

  • Conduct comprehensive patient rounding at designated SNF and LTAC facilities
  • Perform thorough histories, physical exams, and pain assessments
  • Develop and manage pain treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • Order/interpret diagnostic tests and adjust medications as appropriate
  • Evaluate therapy response and document progress
  • Provide palliative and chronic pain management services as clinically indicated

Greenlight Visit Responsibilities

  • Complete pre-procedure or medication authorization readiness visits
  • Ensure charts meet documentation standards for medical necessity
  • Verify compliance with opioid and controlled substance regulations (including PMP checks)
  • Confirm all required imaging, labs, and prior therapy documentation are in place
  • Communicate findings efficiently with providers, authorization teams, and schedulers

Provider Coverage

  • Serve as coverage for scheduled PTO, CME leave, and occasional unplanned provider absences
  • Ability to work across multiple clinic locations as assigned
  • Maintain flexible availability to support business continuity

Care Coordination & Compliance

  • Collaborate with SNF/LTAC interdisciplinary teams to optimize pain plans
  • Communicate proactively with facility medical staff and families as needed
  • Ensure documentation meets CMS, state regulatory, and practice standards
  • Participate in quality assurance, compliance reviews, and risk-reduction protocols

Teamwork & Professionalism

  • Model a compassionate, patient-first culture

Qualifications

  • Previous Pain management or rounding (geriatrics) experience

  • Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Board certification (PMHNP, FNP, AGACNP, or PA-C)

Report issues to management or appropriate department.

This Job Description provides criteria for evaluation for the Staff ST/CST. The Staff Surgical Technician/Certified Surgical Technician working in the Staff ST/CST position assures a safe and therapeutic environment for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.

What you will do in this role:
  • Demonstrates knowledge of applying surgical gloves using aseptic technique and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of preparing for surgery by “pulling” the appropriate supplies and instruments for the procedure.
  • Understands and recognizes the different surgical instruments and their applications.
  • Displays appropriate knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology to prepare and assist in surgical procedures.
  • Maintains a safe sterile field by a – positioning sharps correctly b – labeling all medications on sterile field c – understanding of electrocautery and other devices that generate heat to prevent possible fires in the O.R. d – Participating in a “timeout” with rest of the surgical team to maintain patient safety.
  • Demonstrates ability to appropriately set up for a surgical procedure and follow protocol in the counting of supplies/instruments to ensure no foreign object is left inside of the patient.
  • Understands the principles of and can competently assist a surgeon during a procedure and possesses adequate knowledge of the procedure itself.
  • Displays the ability to differentiate sutures and their applications.
  • Demonstrates the ability to close a surgical site (under physician supervision) with appropriate suture.
  • Demonstrates a teamwork approach in the care of a patient during the perioperative phase.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or military equivalent training in the Surgical Technologist role is required.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology or verifiable Surgical Tech experience prior to 9/1/2009 is required.
  • Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.
