The RN Clinician is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong understanding of patient care for a specific population. Using clinical knowledge, research, and experience, they adapt to changing situations and personalize care based on the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care. They serve as a resource for colleagues and advocate for patients and families. This individual:

- Maintains required points and contact hours per the clinical lattice PLAN system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), AND A. 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years, OR B. Recent completion of a re-entry nursing program. OR, 2. Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience within the past five years. *Exceptions: 1. *Current LPNs employed within the Emory Healthcare (EHC) system who have completed an accredited RN program and obtain RN licensure are eligible to transition into this role while completing the RN Resident Program. 2. Emory LPNs enrolled in an Emory ADN program as of 3/30/2025 must sign an obligation agreement to complete an ADN-to-BSN program within two years of entering the RN Clinician role.
- A valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing
- BLS certification
- ACLS may be required for certain departments, post hire

Join an innovative Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team at Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute. Be part of a pioneering Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) dedicated to the critical care management of oncology patients at Emory University Hospital Midtown. We are seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our highly regarded Critical Care APP team at this nationally recognized cancer center.
We offer flexible scheduling options, including Daytime, Nocturnist, and Rotating Day/Night roles. Typical full-time positions consist of 3 shifts per week, with opportunities for additional shifts as needed.
Critical Care APP positions are open to experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants. Nurse Practitioner candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP).
- Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
- Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
- Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems.
- Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes.
- Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
- May require at least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties.
- Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association is required.
