This position is responsible for performing a variety of massage therapy techniques to reduce stress and promote relaxation. The techniques used include: Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, shiatsu and hot stone. Additionally, all Spa personnel are responsible for driving positive guest satisfaction through implementation of core brand requirements, and positive engagement with our guests.
Responsibilities
• Adheres to policies, and delivers all responsibilities in accordance with Spa by JW brand standards.
• Reports any incident and/or accident immediately to the Spa Director.
• Performs all services that meet the established guidelines for that type of service offering that fulfill guest expectations; based on current certifications.
• Understands and uses universal precautions when providing services.
• Assesses contraindications of guest that may prevent service from taking place.
• Maintains the highest level of product knowledge and has complete knowledge of all spa services presently offered. Can speak knowledgeably about hotel amenities and the local Austin area; answering guest questions that arise.
• Suggest to guest other beneficial treatments offered in the Spa
• Understands the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to guest. Answers guest’s questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Recommends products for home use with a minimum service to sale ratio of 5%.
• Keeps up on inventory and notifies Spa Director of product needs.
• Attends all scheduled meetings, and scheduled professional trainings.
• Cleans and disinfects all equipment on a daily basis.
• Assists staff with lifting, storing facility equipment including furniture and products to help maintain and prepare the facility for special events.
• Creates and maintains client cards with treatment notes, when appropriate.
• Ensures that work areas are clean and set according to procedures.
• Begins and ends all treatments on time.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Massage Therapists must interact with guests throughout their shift, therefore communication skills are required specifically speaking and listening. Additionally, significant standing is required for extended periods of time (up to 7-8 hours), while providing massage therapy to guests.
• Massage therapists use touch to treat clients’ injuries and to promote the clients’ general wellness. They use their hands, fingers, forearms, elbows, and sometimes feet to knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
• Additionally, this position requires bending, lifting, stooping, squatting, reaching, overhead lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Lead is essential for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our resort property with the added responsibilities of leading the department when a Supervisor, Manager or Director is not available. This role includes responding to work order requests, performing general maintenance tasks, and assisting with property upkeep, all while maintaining a positive guest experience. The Cook III helps with station assignments and prepares hot and cold foods for the restaurant according to Chef de Cuisine’s specifications. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items following established recipes and safety standards. Position Summary
The Bartender mixes and serves beverages in a timely and friendly manner. They also oversee the security of liquor, checks, and cash, as well as participate in the physical setup and breakdown of the bar. The Bartender serves as the face of the business with the ability to provide exceptional guest service. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Essential Job Functions/Key Responsibilities
- Offer guests recommendations of drinks to compliment certain food items
- Know all menu item origins, preparations, and ingredients to make recommendations
- Mix drinks and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
- Complete beverage and general supply requisitions
- Ensure guests satisfaction and inform management of guest’s comments and complaints
- Monitor guests who are over intoxicated and communicate sightings to management team for further evaluation
- Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management and the established emergency plan
- Reset area, clean all indoor and outdoor areas and perform side duties assigned by the Manager
- Responsible for assisting all team members in organization of kitchen items, to include, dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies and proper rotation and organization of all F&B deliveries
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand
- Enforce and comply with all policies and procedures for the Food and Beverage department
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be over 18 years of age
- TIPS trained
- Six months to one year of related experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge in all wines by the glass
- Proficient knowledge of state liquor laws
- Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail creation methods preferred
- Knowledge in cash and credit card payment processing
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants and activities
- Mixology Skills
- Ability to wet up, maintain, and break down bar area
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional, team-player attitude
- Ability to work outdoors at high elevation for entire shift
- Ability to maintain the proper care and cleanliness of serving equipment and glassware
- Ability to serve guests in a timely and friendly manner
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces

- Assist in deep cleaning projects, including carpet shampooing, window washing, and furniture polishing

The Restaurant Server serves food & beverage items in a timely, friendly and professional manner. This is performed at a table service restaurant and/or bar/lounge environment according to established standards and procedure. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.
