Drafting and responding to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.

Making regular court appearances for hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.

Conducting legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.

Preparing and filing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
5.
Negotiating settlements on behalf of our clients.

Collaborating with our legal team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications: 1.
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the LA state bar and in good standing.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plaintiff litigation attorney.

Proven experience in drafting and responding to discovery.

Extensive experience in making court appearances.

This job handles pre-implant, post-implant, and/or inpatient mechanical circulatory support. Organizing and maintaining case files, including managing electronic databases and physical records.

Assisting with trial preparation, including the creation of exhibits, witness preparation, and coordination of logistics.
7.
Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts as necessary.

Providing administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and drafting correspondence.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications: 1.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within a high volume insurance defense setting.

A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent legal studies.

Extensive experience in litigation support, including a thorough understanding of the litigation process and legal terminology.

Proficiency in legal research tools and databases, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
5.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff, clients, and court personnel.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
8.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
