The Sr. Accountant will prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations for certain Balance Sheet accounts. Manages the company's expense reimbursement system. Manages and maintains the Mexican general ledger for calendar year statutory and fiscal year internal purposes. Manages the payment side of the Wells Fargo ePayables system. Manages the 1099 and 1096 filings for the corporation. In addition, this position is cross-trained in accounts payable, credit and collections, cash applications.
Responsibilities
Balance Sheet Account reconciliations
- Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis, making appropriate adjusting Journal Entries as necessary when authorized to do so by the Controller and/or the CFO. Corresponds with banks regarding reconciliation problems.
Manages the ePayables Program
- Manages the payment process of the ePayables program. Ensures that vendors have taken their posted payments and generates YTD status reports based on vendor activity.
Manages the corporate-wide Concur Expense Reimbursement system
- Manages, maintains, approves, audits and processes expense reports for payment of all DAP employees.
- Maintains the integrity of the expense reimbursement system by adding and deleting associates when needed and making sure that the correct information is attached to each employee.
- Applies the corporate reimbursement policies when making payments to employees to ensure proper reimbursement.
- Creates rules and policies in Concur so that the system automatically audits according to our corporate policies.
Manages the Mexican General Ledger in SAP
- Manages and maintains both the internal fiscal year general ledger as well as the statutory calendar year general ledger in SAP to comply with Mexican law. Works with the Mexican auditors to close the statutory ledger during the annual audit
Other
- Provide support for and files the Sales & Use tax filings. Completes and files US Dept of Commerce and Census government forms as needed. Manages the 1099 and 1096 filings for the corporation.
- Researches journal entries and miscellaneous budgetary variances during the month-end process.
- Cross trains in aspects of our A/P, A/R, and Cash Application functions in order to provide a viable backup to those critical areas of the Finance Department operation.
- Assists in the annual budget preparation. Inputs and revises departmental budget information. Creates monthly reports for department heads and communicates directly with them regarding monthly budgetary variances.
- Other projects as deemed necessary by Finance Department managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Strong spreadsheet skills, ability to understand accounting and financial reporting systems.
- Working knowledge of SOx procedures and SAP, HFM and Concur experience a desired, but not required.
- 7+ years of experience in the relevant field.

Provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients with a variety of medical conditions. This includes but is not limited to performing malnutrition assessments nutrition focused physical exams diet educations and providing nutrition support recommendations. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Consults with and/or makes recommendations to physicians and other allied health professionals regarding patients' nutritional statuses nutrient needs or specific diet plans.
* Formulates nutrition assessment evaluation and follow-up plans for patients at nutrition risk as ordered by providers or according to departmental policy. Recommends and documents patient's nutrition treatment findings and plan in the patient's medical record.
* Consults in/outpatients in diet rationale for self-management.
* Participates in clinical rounds appropriate department/service meetings and communicates appropriate information to administrative personnel in service area. Must be flexible to cross-cover and train in all areas including the Neonatal ICU and Pediatrics if needed.

* Attends pertinent meetings to enhance clinical practice growth records and documents in CDR Professional Development Plan.
* Performs at least one annual formal professional presentation in the area of specialty to allied health professionals or the community.
* Develops implements or participates in one of the following: new or updated education material new policy or policy change QAPI project or other nutrition related project as directed and approved by the CNM.

Primary Duties:
- Provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to patients with speech, language and/or swallowing disorders, including head-neck cancer patients.

MedStar Health is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our MedStar Health Urgent Care team!
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform clinical and administrative duties in the MedStar Health Settings consistent with policies & procedures. Works under the supervision of a physician and performs patient intake, standing orders or protocols, venipuncture, laboratory testing and patient follow up. Will also administer oral, IM, SC, or intradermal medications when ordered by a provider, after demonstrating competency to the Clinical Professional Development Specialist or designee. Clinical Care Specialists (CCSs) certified as Radiologic Technologists also perform and transmit X-ray diagnostic images. This position documents as appropriate in the medical record and supports optimal patient flow.

Primary Duties:
Ability to float to other sites/locations within the system to be able to perform all duties at multiple entities.
Adheres to MedStar Health Code of Conduct and its Compliance plan; complies with governmental and accreditation guidelines, completing all scheduled training including, but not limited to, safety, infection control, OSHA, CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation), EMR (Electronic Medical Record), general compliance, harassment, and service. Cleans, stocks, and sterilizes equipment in addition to cleaning and preparing patient rooms for care delivery. Delivers patient care consistent with policy and with high regard for patient/ employee safety and quality of care.
Embraces new technology and use of the electronic health record. Manages patient flow with consistent and frequent communication with patients/family and genuine regard for their time and comfort.Performs other testing and care consistent with the scope of the MedStar Health practices including, but not limited to, spirometry/ PFTs, patient vitals and BMI, EKGs, vision and hearing test, splinting, and general patient care under the supervision of the medical provider. Performs patient follow up calls for lab tests, patient experience, and clinical results in accordance with policy and in a professional manner.
Performs venipuncture and selected patient and laboratory testing (point of care); initiates care pathways in accordance with policy. Performs x-rays in accordance with medical provider orders; forwards images to the appropriate radiologist for overreads; maintains x-ray equipment and adheres to safety standards.
