Position Responsibilities:

• Contribute to systems engineering efforts on new development, production, and/or sustainment programs, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Vehicle Management System (VMS) Senior Manager to support a proprietary Air Dominance portfolio program located in Berkeley, MO.

The VMS senior manager leads a multi-disciplined team to define, procure, develop, integrate and test an air vehicle VMS. The VMS team is responsible for requirements definition, verification, and validation; hardware selection and integration; VMS software development; and integrated testing in the laboratory and on the final product. Boeing Defense Space & Security is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Systems Engineer to join us as part of our Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) In-Service and Project Engineering team located in Richardson, TX or Berkeley, MO.

The Advanced Airborne Sensor is a multi-function radar used on the P-8 Poseidon. The team is responsible for developing and performing engineering for production, sustainment, modification and improvements of military and commercial derivative aircraft. This position will work closely with the supply chain, suppliers, program manager, contracts, estimating, engineering, and/or customers to execute the program. In this role you integrate technical requirements and schedule demands with suppliers, coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product, manage a diverse set of projects, and lead proposal development.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day management of suppliers, including regular engagement with supply chain to monitor and improve supplier performance. Serve as Equipment Manager for multiple sub assemblies.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional peers.
• Communicate program status, key risks, issues, and opportunities to customers and leadership, and clearly articulate required support or decisions.
• Develop clear, compliant supplier statements of work (SSOW) for ongoing and new requirements, and lead execution to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
• Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable delivery plans.

Summary pay range for Associate Level: $99,450 - $134,550

Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $126,650 - $171,350

Summary pay range for Senior Level: $160,650 - $217,350
