Essential Job Functions:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate mobility, coordination, strength and current level of function.
- Responsible for administration, evaluation, and interpretation of tests and measurements to determine functional goals and outcomes.
- Provide a written evaluation and plan of care defining physical therapy needs, goals, progress and expected outcomes.

Position Purpose:
Our Physical Therapy Assistants, PTA, provide physical therapy services to Mt. Carmel patients under the guidance and supervision of a Physical Therapist and following a written plan of care established by the physician and physical therapist. Saint Alphonsus Behavioral Health Clinic is looking for a Lead Practice Nurse to join their team! In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and support within the clinic and throughout the network. This is also considered a working RN position, meaning you will still provide some patient care, including Triage, working alongside clinic staff.
Typical days include coordination of all back office staff and acting as liaison between support staff, physician and clinic managers/administrators. You will conduct routine staff meetings, scheduling, clinical competencies, staff education, etc. and be responsible for Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA and State radiological safety standards as well as any other local, state or federal mandates. Abdomen (ABD) and Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) registries as provided by the ARDMS required within one year of employment.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
