The Business, Engineering, and Technology (BET) Division seeks a dynamic, collaborative, and student-centered full-time faculty member to join the Engineering & Technology Department to teach in the field of Architecture/Engineering Technology, CADD Design, BIM, and 3-D Printing/Additive Manufacturing Technology.
The successful candidate may be asked to teach some or all of the courses in Computer-Aided Design & Drafting (CADD Design), Building Information Modeling, Electronics Technology, Additive Manufacturing, 3-D Printing and Scanning, and Gaming & Simulation.
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates a passion for teaching; is solutions-oriented, with a growth mindset; and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Must be available and willing to teach day or evening courses face-to-face, hybrid, and online.
The teaching load is 15-credits per semester. Release time may be available for course coordination. In addition, faculty are expected to maintain at least five (5) office hours per week (as described in the Faculty Handbook) while class is in session and accept other responsibilities as assigned by the leadership.
- Teach courses in at least two of the following subjects: Architecture/Engineering Technology, CADD Design, BIM, and 3-D Printing/Additive Manufacturing Technology
- Faculty may be asked to teach across modalities (hybrid, face-to-face, online, etc.) and in accelerated (7-weeks); 10-weeks and 15-week course formats
- Coordinate CADD, BIM, and Additive Manufacturing Technology, Gaming and Simulation courses
- Participate in enrollment management and support adjunct faculty
- Prepare syllabi and Canvas sites
- Develop and update course materials
- Participate in program management and learning outcome assessment initiatives
- Work collaboratively with faculty, and other course coordinators and staff to implement departmental programs

The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL’s good faith belief at the time of posting. - Evaluate Cloud Service Provider (CSP) documentation packages following government guidance and procedures, including key artifacts such as the Cloud Architecture Diagram, System Security Plan (SSP), SSP Addendum, Readiness Assessment Report (RAR), System Architecture, Security Assessment Plan (SAP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), and associated Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms).
- Review, analyze, and process additional documents including Change Requests, Extension Requests, Deviation Requests, Whitelist Requests, Corrective Action Plans, templates, process guide approvals, and continuous monitoring (ConMon) artifacts for existing Provisional Authorizations.
- Prepare and deliver up to 30 Cloud Security Assessment Packages annually, each including validated cybersecurity controls, certifier recommendations, and a statement of residual risk.
- Participate in technical kickoff meetings and review preliminary documentation to assess a CSP's readiness posture.
- Analyze and provide detailed feedback on CSP submissions such as the RAR, SAP, SSP, and architectural diagrams.
- Assess and document the operational impact of authorizations, changes, and vulnerabilities on the CSP environment.
- Develop Cloud Security Assessment Packages in accordance with established guidelines, including the SAR, POA&M, and any Deviation Requests.

Requirements
· Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, or other mid-Atlantic state(s).
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering (Civil or Environmental) from an accredited four-year college or university.
· 5+ years of experience designing and permitting projects involving land development or land use permitting.
· Experience with stormwater management plans, erosion & sediment control planning and permitting (NPDES).
· Knowledge of State environmental regulations and experience navigating local permitting authorities for zoning, subdivision, and stormwater ordinances.
· Strong organizational and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects.
· Creative and detail-oriented team player with a strong work ethic, self-motivated mindset, and eagerness to grow.
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with key stakeholders, including officials and environmental regulators, to exchange information, clearly explain the project goals, obtain permit approvals, coordinate compliance efforts.

· Experience managing vendor and client payment terms to achieve positive cash flow by reviewing project billings, accounts receivable, monitoring work in progress preparing client invoices and assisting with payment collection.
· Reasonably proficient in AutoCAD, Hydrocad (or alternate stormwater modeling software), MS Office Suite, and MS Project or equivalent project scheduling software.
