Introduction

The IBM Consulting Learning and Knowledge (L&K) Americas Lead will be accountable for overall skills growth for our client-facing Consulting staff in the Americas and local execution of the global L&K strategy. This role will manage local L&K resources, be responsible for the Americas L&K budget, and coordinate with business leaders, L&K’s worldwide portfolio teams, and several shared services functions to ensure that priority education and credential needs are met within the budget.

Key responsibilities include engaging with Geography stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, raising those needs with L&K’s global portfolio leads/senior strategists, end-to-end budget management, and delivering quality education aligned to business priorities and the broader people strategy.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Engage Geography stakeholders (Geo General Manager, Operations Leader, Market Leaders Service Line leaders, etc.) as well as peers from within the Geo Talent Supply Chain (HR, Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition) as the "primary face of L&K" to the Geography.

  • Team with other L&K roles (Portfolio Leads, Lead Learning Strategists, Delivery Leads, Shared Services Learning Consultants) in our organizational matrix to ensure coordination and alignment.

  • Manage the L&K Geography budget, securing initial requirements in the Fall Plan, engaging with Geography leadership and Finance to agree a committed budget, manage budget changes through quarters and ensure the overall program stays within the annual/quarterly budget envelopes - all requiring close coordination with business operations leads as well as the various L&K Portfolio and Shared Services teams.

  • Lead the L&K team in the Geography, including L&K Geo Operations/Finance and L&K Market Leaders. They will also serve as in-country managers for Faculty and Event Management support resources who are in the Shared Service teams.

  • Oversee annual and quarterly education requirements capture and prioritization, working closely with L&K Portfolio and L&K Shared Services teams.

  • Ensure quality education delivery that meets the prioritized Geography requirements and fits within the budget envelope. This will requirement close collaboration with L&K Portfolio and L&K Shared Services teams, who will be responsible for staffing and delivering the education programs.

Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • 10+ years of experience in a services environment, preferably technology consulting. Preference for candidates with both significant client service and learning leadership experience.

  • Proven track record executing complex education deployment programs: Conferences, large and medium-sized face-to-face events, connected classrooms, virtual classrooms, self-studies, etc.

  • Subject Matter Expertise in applied adult learning theory.

  • Proven people and program management skills in complex environments, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Deep senior stakeholder management skills and experience.

  • Ability to collaborate across a multi-dimensional matrix, working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across time zones

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a large-scale corporate education leadership role, including people management (preference in a services environment).

Job Summary

The College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites nominations and applications for the position of Chair of the School of Computing Instruction for the Atlanta campus located in midtown Atlanta, Georgia. The Chair will have the opportunity to build upon the success of the School and the College of Computing. With more students graduating with a Computer Science degree than any other major at Georgia Tech and the Institute's requirement that every student complete at least one programming course, quality instruction on the foundations of computing has never been more important. The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) was created to serve these critical needs within Georgia Tech and beyond. Our award-winning teaching-focused faculty have three core missions:

Platform for Creativity and Innovation. SCI's creative faculty boldly experiment with new ideas and approaches to pedagogy, while continually re-examining proven methods to ensure their approach is effective and practical across a different set of courses and students. Ultimately, we consider SCI a platform for meaningful experimentation and invite collaborations both within and beyond Georgia Tech to further push the envelope in computing education research, practice and outreach.

Scalability of Computing Instruction. SCI's faculty design and serve as primary instructors for the College's array of introductory computer science courses, direct the junior design/capstone program for our undergraduate computing majors, and teach a selection of upper-division and graduate level courses that reflect our faculty's varied interests. At the undergraduate level, SCI faculty teach a third of the College's 1000-4000 level course offerings or half of the nearly 9000 undergraduate computing course seats each semester. Further, we reach tens of thousands of GT graduate students and non-GT students through special initiatives, such as MOOCs and the state of Georgia's dual enrollment high school program.

Transparency and Meaningful Dialogue. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Dean of the College of Computing, the Chair has overall responsibility for the academic program in the School of Computing Instruction specifically focusing on all budgetary, administrative, academic, fiscal, and personal decisions in conjunction with the mission and goals of the College and Georgia Tech. The chair must have a forward-thinking strategic vision, the ability to implement that vision, and the necessary skills to lead a group of faculty and staff. Additionally, the Chair will provide overall leadership for all the school's teaching components at the undergraduate level. The Chair should establish collaborative and interdisciplinary relationships with others Computing School Chairs, with other leaders in the College, as well as all internal and external constituents at Georgia Tech and abroad. They must be able to build successful partnerships with executive leaders at Georgia Tech. Fostering community engagement and industry relationships should also be primary goals for the incoming Chair. Finally, the successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to Georgia Tech Core Values.

About the School of Computing Instruction at the Georgia Institute of Technology

With more students graduating with a Computer Science degree than any other major at Georgia Tech and the Institute's requirement that every student complete at least one programming course, quality instruction on the foundations of computing has never been more important. The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) was created to serve these critical needs within Georgia Tech and beyond. Our award-winning teaching-focused faculty have three core missions:

Platform for Creativity and Innovation. SCI's creative faculty boldly experiment with new ideas and approaches to pedagogy, while continually re-examining proven methods to ensure their approach is effective and practical across a different set of courses and students. Ultimately, we consider SCI a platform for meaningful experimentation and invite collaborations both within and beyond Georgia Tech to further push the envelope in computing education.

Scalability of Computing Instruction. SCI's faculty design and serve as primary instructors for the College's array of introductory computer science courses, direct the junior design/capstone program for our undergraduate computing majors, and teach a selection of upper-division and graduate level courses that reflect our faculty's varied interests. At the undergraduate level, SCI faculty teach a third of the College's 1000-4000 level course offerings or half of the nearly 9000 undergraduate computing course seats each semester. Further, we reach tens of thousands of GT graduate students and non-GT students through special initiatives, such as MOOCs and the state of Georgia's dual enrollment high school program.

Transparency and Meaningful Dialogue. Job Summary

The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) at Georgia Institute of Technology within the College of Computing was recently founded to recognize the significant contributions of CS teaching-track faculty. We invite applications for multiple full-time and long-term faculty positions. The official appointment of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will be made depending on past teaching experience. Both positions are offered with renewable contracts with an expectation to start in 2025 on Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta campus. Summer teaching for additional compensation is typically available. In addition, SCI faculty are typically allowed to teach at one of Georgia Tech's multiple study-abroad campuses (Berlin, Barcelona, Metz, etc.) during the summer.

The top candidates will be invited to Atlanta for an on-site interview, which involves giving a sample lecture.



Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to providing high-quality undergraduate teaching, primarily within the technical communications component of the College's capstone design program. Opportunities to teach graduate courses are also available, as candidates will be matched to courses for which they are the best fit. In addition to teaching, there will be an expectation to participate in service at the School, College, and Institute level. Candidates are also encouraged to engage in scholarship and curriculum development. As part of its budget, SCI earmarks funding for these sorts of activities and makes it available to faculty.

All positions are full-time and are located in Atlanta, GA, U.S.A. The School of CSE focuses on foundational research of an interdisciplinary nature that enables advances in science, engineering, medical, and social domains. Responsibilities

The School of Interactive Computing () at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. Applicants will be considered at all ranks.

Beyond our hiring focus areas mentioned above, the 50+ faculty members of the School of Interactive Computing also pursue research on artificial intelligence and machine learning; human-centered computing and cognitive science; information visualization and visual analytics; learning science and technology, and computing education; robotics; computational journalism; ubiquitous and wearable computing; and virtual and augmented environments. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Dean of the College of Computing, the Chair has overall responsibility for the academic and research programs in the School of Computer Science specifically focusing on all budgetary, administrative, academic, fiscal, and personal decisions in conjunction with the mission and goals of the College and Georgia Tech. The chair must have a forward-thinking strategic vision and the appropriate skills to lead a group of faculty and staff. Additionally, the Chair will provide overall leadership for all the school's teaching and research components at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Chair should establish collaborative and interdisciplinary relationships with others Computing School Chairs, with other leaders in the College, as well as all internal and external constituents at Georgia Tech and abroad. They must be able to build successful partnerships with executive leaders at Georgia Tech. External affairs, community engagement, and industry relationships should also be primary goals for the incoming Chair. Lead HPC Architect Cybersecurity - High Performance & Computational Data Ecosystem

Position Summary:

The Scientific Computing and Data group at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai partners with scientists to accelerate scientific discovery. To achieve these aims, we support a cutting-edge high-performance computing and data ecosystem along with MD/PhD-level support for researchers. The group is composed of a high-performance computing team, a clinical data warehouse team and a data services team.


The Lead HPC Architect, Cybersecurity, High Performance Computational and Data Ecosystem, is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cybersecurity infrastructure and technical operations of Scientific Computing’s computational and data science ecosystem. This ecosystem includes a 25,000+ core and 40+ petabyte usable high-performance computing (HPC) systems, clinical research databases, and a software development infrastructure for local and national projects. The HPC system is the fastest in the world at any academic biomedical center (Top 500 list).


To meet Sinai’s scientific and clinical goals, the Lead brings a strategic, tactical and customer-focused vision to evolve the ecosystem to be continually more resilient, secure, scalable and productive for basic and translational biomedical research. The Lead combines deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, HPC systems, storage, networking, and software infrastructure with a strong focus on service, collaboration, and strategic planning for researchers and clinicians throughout the organization and beyond. The Lead is an expert troubleshooter, productive partner and leader of projects. The lead will work with stakeholders to make sure the HPC infrastructure is in compliance with governmental funding agency requirements and to promote efficient resource utilizations for researchers


This position reports to the Director for HPC and Data Ecosystem in Scientific Computing and Data.


Key Responsibilities:


HPC Cybersecurity & System Administration:

  • Design, implement, and manage all cybersecurity operations within the HPC environment, ensuring alignment with industry standards (NIST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, CMMC, NYC Cyber Command, etc.).
  • Implement best practices for data security, including but not limited to encryption (at rest, in transit, and in use), audit logging, access control, authentication control, configuration managements, secure enclaves, and confidential computing.
  • Perform full-spectrum HPC system administration: installation, monitoring, maintenance, usage reporting, troubleshooting, backup and performance tuning across HPC applications, web service, database, job scheduler, networking, storage, computes, and hardware to optimize workload efficiency.
  • Lead resolution of complex cybersecurity and system issues; provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
  • Ensure that all designs and implementations meet cybersecurity, performance, scalability, and reliability goals. Ensure that the design and operation of the HPC ecosystem is productive for research.
  • Lead the integration of HPC resources with laboratory equipment for data ingestion aligned with all regulatory such as genomic sequencers, microscopy, clinical system etc.
  • Develop, review and maintain security policies, risk assessments, and compliance documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with institutional IT, compliance, and research teams to ensure all regulatory, Sinai Policy and operational alignment.
  • Design and implement hybrid and cloud-integrated HPC solutions using on-premise and public cloud resources.
  • Partner with other peers regionally, nationally and internationally to discover, propose and deploy a world-class research infrastructure for Mount Sinai.
  • Stay current with emerging HPC, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies to keep the organization’s infrastructure up-to-date.
  • Work collaboratively, effectively and productively with other team members within the group and across Mount Sinai.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or another scientific field. Master's or PhD preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive HPC system administration experience with Enterprise Linux releases including RedHat/CentOS/Rocky Systems, and batch cluster environment.
  • Experience with all aspects of high-throughput HPC including schedulers (LSF or Slurm), networking (Infiniband/Gigabit Ethernet), parallel file systems and storage, configuration management systems (xCAT, Puppet and/or Ansible), etc.
  • Proficient in cybersecurity processes, posture, regulations, approaches, protocols, firewalls, data protection in a regulated environment (e.g. finance, healthcare).
  • In-depth knowledge HIPAA, NIST, FISMA, GDPR and related compliance standards, with prove experience building and maintaining compliant HPC system
  • Experience with secure enclaves and confidential computing.
  • Proven ability to provide mentorship and technical leadership to team members.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects to completion in collaborative, interdisciplinary settings with minimum guidance.
  • Excellent analytical ability and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities


  • Design, deploy and maintain Scientific Computing’s computational and data science ecosystem including ~30,000 cores with high bandwidth, low latency interconnects, GPUs, large shared memory nodes, databases, scientific workflows and 30+ petabytes of storage in production, clinical data warehouse and software development environment.
  • Lead the troubleshooting, isolation and resolution of all technical issues including application, system, hardware, software, and network). Actively monitors the systems.
  • Maintains, tunes and manages computational, data, cloud technologies and workflow systems for ISMMS researchers, scientists and their external collaborators. The Opportunity

Key job responsibilities
As a Senior GTM Specialist on the AWS Compute GTM and SSA team, you will:
• Drive Revenue Growth: Design and execute GTM programs that unlock new customer segments and enable incremental spend across the AWS Compute portfolio
• Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to develop comprehensive GTM approaches that address customer demand
• Own Strategic Initiatives: Work independently to deliver results in ambiguous environments, demonstrating strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Communicate with Impact: Regularly engage with senior leadership, providing insights and reporting on GTM initiatives on weekly and monthly cadences
• Influence Product Strategy: Collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to shape roadmaps and secure progress toward shared business goals

Department Information

The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. The graduate CS program is currently ranked 6th and the undergraduate 5th nationally by U.S. News and World Report. The College consists of five Schools that provide specialized and general computing education to the entire campus.   • Heavy focus on state, foundation and sponsored research budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and closeout.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for unit leadership and Project Investigators, with a strong emphasis on sponsored grant reporting, to provide accurate data for decision-making while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulations.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-award and post-award management for a modest number of sponsored grants and other funding sources, including preparing and submitting budget amendments and subawards for sponsored grants.
  • Monitor and track expenditures against budgets to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Provide support for salary distributions and redistributions in compliance with policy.
  • Exercise fiscal approval authority over Workday transactions at the school level.


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced certification may be preferred or required.

Required Experience
Three or more years of relevant experience with one or more years of supervisory knowledge.
