We are looking for a dedicated and creative Chef/Kitchen Manager to take ownership of our culinary operations across the dining room, live music nights, and private events. You will be responsible for crafting seasonal, inventive menus that appeal to a wide range of tastes and dietary needs while maintaining consistent quality and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and update seasonal menus for dine-in service, banquet menus, and outdoor event offerings; incorporate local and sustainable ingredients when possible.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative, professional environment that promotes growth and accountability.
- Oversee all food preparation, presentation, and plating to ensure excellence and consistency across all service channels.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, sanitation, and safety regulations; maintain documentation and training for the team.
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, food cost controls, and ordering to meet budget and reduce waste.
- Collaborate closely with event coordinators, front-of-house management, and production teams to execute flawless banquets and music venue events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of culinary experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven expertise in menu planning, costing, portion control, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work calmly under pressure during high-energy events.
- Ability to adapt recipes and menus to accommodate allergies, dietary restrictions, and diverse guest preferences.
- Culinary degree or formal training preferred but not required; a strong portfolio and references are highly valued.
