CME Wire and Cable is seeking a strategic and results-driven National Warehouse Manager to lead U.S. warehouse, distribution, logistics, and commercial planning operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain operations aligned with long-term business and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safe and compliant warehouse operations across multiple U.S. distribution centers

• Ensure regulatory compliance including OSHA, environmental standards, Fire Department requirements, Department of Labor regulations, and CTPAT

• Oversee inbound logistics from Mexico and South America into the U.S., ensuring CBP compliance

• Manage U.S. warehouse capacity planning, space optimization, and lease negotiations

• Negotiate and manage transportation carriers and logistics service providers

• Track and improve on-time delivery performance

• Drive demand planning and optimize inventory levels balancing storage capacity, fill rate, and commercial goals

• Coordinate production planning with manufacturing plants

• Design and implement finished goods distribution processes

• Ensure adherence to inventory policies and controls

• Lead short- and mid-term commercial planning processes (Demand Estimates, POC, Distribution Reports, Bookings Reports)

• Consolidate sales forecasts, operational performance, and market projections

• Develop business cases to support growth and investment initiatives

• Monitor customer service performance and marginal contribution

• Partner with Sales to define regional and national commercial growth strategies

• Lead initiatives to accelerate growth and close competitive gaps

• Improve customer satisfaction through service excellence initiatives

• Analyze market and competitive trends to support strategic decision-making

• Strengthen strategic relationships with customers and key commercial partners

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or commercial operations leadership

• Multi-site warehouse and distribution management experience

• Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory compliance (OSHA, CBP, CTPAT preferred)

• Experience managing international inbound logistics

• Proven transportation negotiation experience

• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

This position entails the fabrication and assembly of complex Space flight cable and harnesses assemblies from drawings, schematics, wire lists, or engineering sketches in conformance with government specifications and workmanship standards. Assembly is performed in a professional atmosphere in an ESD and FOD awareness area. Regular use of soldering iron, tweezers, heat guns, and other common hand tools.

Candidates will complete a Hands-On Skills Assessment, demonstrating technical proficiency to perform required job duties.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Obtain all necessary information to perform job assignments and report any discrepancies to appropriate personnel.

• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to perform point-to-point assembly, where assemblies and subassemblies require wiring and soldering of large masses of wires in confined spaces.

• Following appropriate wiring diagram, perform wiring using harness boards, tie-in cables and harnesses.

• Perform electrical/electronic and mechanical assembly tasks working alone or as a member of an assembly team as assigned.

• Lay out and construct harness boards to assemble and form wiring and cables for a wide variety of electrical/electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

• Mix and apply bonding components and encapsulate.

• Use and operate a broad range of hand tools and assembly equipment to perform tasks.

• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Basic Qualifications for Level 2 Harness Technician:

• High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 3 additional years of education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production or logistics.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.

• Must be capable of successfully completing Certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and NASA-J-STD.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3 Harness Technician:

• High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 6 additional years of education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production or logistics.

Position Responsibilities

• Devise and make shop aids to facilitate work. Operate and utilize mechanical, test equipment and test systems, precision devices in failure analysis, all forms of predictive/preventative technologies, as required on cranes.

• Maintain, adjust, install and repair, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric brake system components on cranes and bridges as requires.
• Inspect and maintain building runway rails and expansion joints.

• Perform the operational tests and load tests of cranes and bridges as required by Engineering, SHEA and other applicable codes and regulations.
• Maintain logs, charts, and perform written and verbal tie-in records.
• Prepare reports and schedules as required.
• Work with and assist employees of other classifications as required.
• Perform work in other classifications when incidental but necessary to the accomplishment of the assignment.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

• Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for performing skilled preventative and corrective electrical maintenance to equipment and associated building including interior and exterior lighting and wiring system

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years electrical maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system based company is a plus.
