National Operations Manager

This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain operations aligned with long-term business and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead safe and compliant warehouse operations across multiple U.S. distribution centers
• Ensure regulatory compliance including OSHA, environmental standards, Fire Department requirements, Department of Labor regulations, and CTPAT
• Oversee inbound logistics from Mexico and South America into the U.S., ensuring CBP compliance

- Measures & cuts cable to required length, considering cable stretch metal flow resulting from swaging operations, using cable cutter or saw.

- Repairs reworks cable assemblies as required.

Atkore, a recent recipient of a Great Place to Work certification, currently has openings for first shift Machine Operators at our Byesville, OH plant. The position will have broad responsibility for operating and setting up the machines, operating equipment, ensuring quality, and monitoring production.
Job Responsibilities:
Sets up and adjusts machines and equipment to meet production specifications.
Checks and observes machines to ensure production of a quality product.
Makes necessary changes to equipment and processes as indicated by quality control check.
Responsible for the operation of the machines in the areas of production and quality of work produced.
Makes out daily production and downtime reports as required.
Cleans up assigned area and helps clear out scrap.
Monitors and maintains production and scrap rates.
Qualifications:
Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting.
Machine operation or mechanical skill set experience.
Knowledge of steel or manufacturing processes desired.

Responsibilities include set up, operation, inspection and adjustment of large and/or heavy coiling equipment. This role requires lifting up to 70 lbs as well as pushing/pulling of coiling materials, completion of necessary paperwork and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in an environment with loud noises, smells and/or extreme temperatures at times.
- Basic Math skills required.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, sit and stand without assistance.
- Good attendance and strong work ethic required.
- Must have the ability to understand, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to follow directions and complete work in a safe and efficient manner while producing a quality product.

Electrician

We are currently searching for a Electrician to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for performing skilled preventative and corrective electrical maintenance to equipment and associated building including interior and exterior lighting and wiring system
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years electrical maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system based company is a plus.
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Test, locate, and repair trouble in electrical circuits and equipment; perform electronic equipment repair and troubleshooting; repair and replace broken or defective parts; repair electrical motors, parts, wiring and other electrical devices.
- Use knowledge of principles, methods and equipment in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and electronic equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and manuals.
- Work within team environment with minimum supervision.
- Exercise judgment and initiative within established guidelines.
- Provide assistance to maintenance personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications include:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years electrical maintenance experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment.
- Must have strong Mechanical and/or Electrical skill set
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations, codes and ordinances pertaining to the work safety practices, safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work.
- Understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
- Experience and knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles preferred
- Computer skills in Excel, Word, Power Point and MS Project preferred
