Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Family Law Paralegal located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Family Law Paralegal will assist attorneys in managing case files, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and coordinating communications with clients and third parties. Additional responsibilities include organizing evidence, scheduling meetings, maintaining case calendars, and ensuring compliance with court filings and deadlines.

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and preparation of documents
• Strong organizational and case management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and legal professionals
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Familiarity with family law practices and court procedures
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management software
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Paralegal certification is preferred
• Previous experience in family law is highly desirable
