The Sr. Project Manager will take a leading role in delivering some of the most advanced data center projects in the country. This position is designed for someone who thrives on ownership, brings deep technical and construction insight, and isn’t afraid to set a higher bar for what great delivery looks like. You’ll represent the client with clarity and confidence, guide multidisciplinary teams through complex decisions, and create an environment where people feel supported, informed, and aligned. Your work will shape projects from the earliest concept through final turnover. Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

• Lead the due diligence and master/campus planning phases for assigned data center project(s).
• Provide oversight of engineering firms & general contractors throughout all project phases, including master planning, detail design, mobilization, construction execution, punch list, and turnover.
• Deliver constructability input on electrical and mechanical designs to ensure cost-effective, buildable solutions.
• Use broad data center project experience and detailed knowledge of critical infrastructure systems including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, fire safety systems, and integrated controls/security infrastructure to guide clients toward sound strategies, help them understand design tradeoffs, and support decisions that drive reliability, efficiency, and overall program success.
• Monitor construction progress and prepare regular executive level updates on key metrics, schedule forecasts, constraints/issues, risks, etc. for internal and client stakeholders.
• Drive utility engagement, infrastructure upgrades, and communication with public utility services.

Client and Cross Functional Relationships

• Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned project(s) building trust through consistent performance and transparency.
• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure seamless project integration and handoff to operations.
• Lead executive level project reporting and presentations for assigned project(s).

Financial Management

• Responsible for overall budget management and cost control for assigned project(s).
• Accountable for reviewing and approving vendor invoices as necessary.
• Generate and submit client invoices via Procore.

We are seeking a talented, collaborative, and highly motivated individual with expertise analytical methods highly focused on HPLC and QC operations to join our core team of scientists and engineers. The Senior Scientist will execute Quality Control testing, and associated operations and contribute to analytical testing to ensure compliance with cGMP requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, optimization, and execution of HPLC-based analytical methods (e.g., RP-HPLC, SEC, IEX) to support in-process, release, and stability testing.
• Develop, qualify, validate, and characterize GMP-compliant purity, SEC, and content methods for intermediates and drug products, with a strong emphasis on chromatographic workflows.
• Author and execute cGMP method qualification and validation protocols, prepare reports, and perform/oversee routine QC testing.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for chromatography methods during investigations of deviations, OOS/OOT events, assay failures, and other non-conformance issues.
• Provide technical leadership in HPLC troubleshooting, instrument maintenance coordination, data integrity practices, and chromatographic data review.

Position Overview

We are seeking Senior Scientists to develop agentic AI systems that transform how drug discovery research is conducted. As part of the AI/ML Foundation team, you will build autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing complex scientific workflows—from literature synthesis and target identification to experimental design and data analysis. This role requires a unique combination of expertise in large language models, agentic frameworks, and understanding of drug discovery processes. You will translate standard research workflows into agentic frameworks, develop new agent skills, and deploy systems that augment scientist productivity across Computational Sciences and Global Research.

Accountabilities:

• Develop agentic AI systems for drug discovery applications including target-disease association, automated literature search and synthesis, hypothesis generation, and intelligent design of experiments.
• Translate standard research workflows into agentic frameworks—decomposing complex scientific processes into autonomous agent tasks that can reason, plan, execute tools, and iterate based on results.
• Design and implement new agent skills (tools, functions, APIs) that extend agentic capabilities to specialized scientific domains including molecular design, property prediction, assay planning, and data analysis.
• Build agentic systems that integrate with foundation models and external knowledge sources for autonomous hypothesis generation, evidence retrieval, and scientific reasoning.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines connecting agents to internal and external scientific literature, databases, and experimental results.
• Partner with research scientists to understand workflow needs, validate agent outputs, and iterate on system design to ensure scientific rigor and utility.
• Stay current with advances in agentic AI, LLM applications, and scientific automation; contribute to internal knowledge sharing and external publications.

Educational & Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field with 2+ years relevant experience, OR MS with 6+ years relevant experience.
• Strong experience with large language models (GPT, Claude, Llama) and their application to complex reasoning tasks.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar).
• Experience building RAG systems including vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval pipelines.
• Understanding of drug discovery processes and scientific research workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex scientific processes into computational workflows.

Preferred:

• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech R&D environments.
• Background in biology, chemistry, or disease biology.
• Experience with reinforcement learning or planning algorithms for agent decision-making.
• Familiarity with scientific databases (PubMed, UniProt, ChEMBL) and APIs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Scientific Computing and Data group at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai partners with scientists to accelerate scientific discovery. To achieve these aims, we support a cutting-edge high-performance computing and data ecosystem along with MD/PhD-level support for researchers. The group is composed of a high-performance computing team, the research clinical data warehouse team and a research data services team.

The Senior HPC Administrator, High Performance Computational and Data Ecosystem, is responsible for a computational and data science ecosystem for researchers at Mount Sinai. This ecosystem includes high-performance computing (HPC) systems, clinical research databases, and a software development infrastructure for local and national projects. To meet Sinai’s scientific and clinical goals, the Senior Administrator has a good technical understanding for computational, data and software development systems along with a strong focus on customer service for researchers. The HPC Senior Administrator is an expert troubleshooter and productive team member and leads projects to effective and efficient completion independently under little to no supervision. This position reports to the Director for Computational & Data Ecosystem in Scientific Computing. Specific responsibilities are listed below.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Scientific Computing’s computational and data science ecosystem including ~30,000 cores with high bandwidth, low latency interconnects, GPUs, large shared memory nodes, databases, scientific workflows and 30+ petabytes of storage in production, clinical data warehouse and software development environment.
• Lead the troubleshooting, isolation and resolution of all technical issues including application, system, hardware, software, and network). Actively monitors the systems.
• Maintains, tunes and manages computational, data, cloud technologies and workflow systems for ISMMS researchers, scientists and their external collaborators. Defines and deploys a comprehensive computational and data vision. Identifies and communicates system advantages/disadvantages and tradeoffs.
• Designs, develops, implements system administration tasks, including hardware and software configuration, configuration management, system monitoring (including the development and maintenance of regression tests), usage reporting, system performance (file systems, scheduler, interconnect, high availability, etc.), security, networking and metrics, etc.
• Collaborates effectively with research and hospital system IT, compliance, HIPAA, security and other departments to ensure compliance with all regulations and Sinai policies.
• Participates in the integration of HPC resources with laboratory equipment such as sequencers, clinical and research data resources and systems, etc. Incorporate and link data and compute resources.
• Researches, deploys and optimizes resource management and scheduling software and policies and actively monitoring. Designs, tunes, manages and upgrades parallel file systems, storage and data-oriented resources.
• Researches, deploys and manages security infrastructure, including development of policies and procedures.
• Maintain all necessary aspects of HPC in accordance with best practices. Develops and implements backup policies.
• Prepares and manages budgets for hardware, software and maintenance. Participates in chargeback/fee recovery analysis and provides suggestions to make operations sustainable.
• Assists in developing and writing system design for research proposals. Creates and provides clear documentation.
• Works effectively and productively with other team members within the group and across Mount Sinai.
• Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
• Provides after hours support for critical system and production issues.
• Answers and resolves user tickets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or another scientific field. Master's or PhD preferred
• 8+ years (higher preferred) of progressive HPC system administration and operations (preferably in a Redhat/CentOS Linux administration, Batch HPC cluster environment)
• Must be an expert troubleshooter; Must be a team player and customer focused
