THE ROLE

This is a high-impact position for an experienced trades professional ready to lead at the highest level. You'll oversee our HVAC Sales & Install, Plumbing Service & Install, and Electrical Service & Install departments — managing technicians, installers, project managers, and apprentices across all three trades. You are the key driver of field performance, quality, and culture.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

HVAC Sales

  • Lead and coach Project Managers to drive close rates and hit sales targets
  • Review all estimates and build sheets for accuracy before equipment is ordered
  • Maintain gross profit margins and hold the team to quality standards

Plumbing — Service & Install

  • Manage plumbing technicians across service and installation
  • Monitor close rates, callbacks, and ensure repair options are presented on every call
  • Set up install crews and manage installation checklists
  • Drive team performance through ride-alongs, coaching, and accountability

Electrical — Service & Install

  • Oversee electrical service and installation teams
  • Ensure technicians are running calls properly and representing the company at a high standard
  • Coordinate with dispatch to get the right tech on the right job

Team Leadership & Development

  • Run daily huddles and set the tone for the day
  • Conduct weekly training sessions and bi-weekly 1-on-1s with direct reports
  • Build and manage performance reviews, 90-day evaluations, and career progression plans
  • Coach techs and installers in real-time through ride-alongs and job visits
  • Manage apprentice training programs including EPA and NATE certification prep

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Policies and Procedures - Develop and maintain all department policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with department procedures and control standards, adjusting existing and/or implementing additional controls as needed.

  • Core Conversion & Maintenance - Collaborate with the Core Banking Systems Administrator to update and maintain core banking and ancillary systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of Core System experience required.
  • 10+ Prior banking experience required.
  • Experience leading diverse teams from entry level to middle manager.
  • Sound education in financial products and services, banking regulations and laws.
  • Strong accounting and math skills.

  • Structural calculations are to include a comprehensive design of the modular unit for both the gravity and lateral systems
  • Gravity designs consist of roof framing members, bearing walls, continuous span multi-layer plywood beams, structural steel clean-span trusses, engineered posts, built-up posts, HSS structural steel posts, floor joists, and wide flange structural steel chassis members
  • Lateral design consists of roof and floor diaphragm sheathing, exterior wall shearwalls, interior wall shearwalls, and structural steel portal frames
  • Ability to complete ‘special interest’ projects from start to finish including multi-story modular unit complexes, shipping container conversion projects, and others
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited university
  • Licensed professional civil/structural engineer – preference given to candidates actively licensed in Alaska, California, and Hawaii; ability to obtain additional state licensures quickly
  • Complete and current NCEES record holder
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a practicing P.E. (civil/structural)
  • Experience in load development and correct application to the structure
  • Experience developing structural calculations for gravity and lateral systems
  • Experience reviewing drawings and developing structural details
  • Structural analysis/engineering design software proficiency in:

o  Excel (in-house database usage)

o  ENERCALC – Structural Engineering Library

o  Tekla – TEDDS

o  RISA – 3D

o  RGS Software – CFS 14

o  Woodworks

o  Bluebeam Revu

  • Ability to develop gravity and lateral systems from concept through completion
  • Ability to analyze and provide structural designs with many different materials such as wood, cold-formed steel and structural steel
  • Ability to provide complete design of various building components including roof rafters, wall studs, floor joists, clearspan steel trusses, shearwall panels, structural steel portal frames and others
  • Familiarity with current building codes (IBC, ASCE, NDS, AISC, AISI)

  • Experience in an engineering setting with drafting responsibilities and the shop drawing review process
