Position Overview
We are seeking a Engagement Manager– Digital Health Experience to lead the deployment, adoption, and engagement optimization of mobile digital health applications within the U.S. healthcare ecosystem. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong experience in launching digital health platforms, managing deployments, and driving sustained patient engagement through data-driven engagement strategies.
The ideal candidate will have experience deploying consumer-facing healthcare applications used by patients across providers and payer organizations, while leveraging engagement tools and analytics platforms to improve patient adoption, retention, and usage metrics such as DAU/MAU.
This role will work closely with product, engineering, digital marketing, and care management teams to ensure successful rollout of mobile applications and to design engagement loops that increase patient participation and long-term platform usage.
Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Customer Engagement & Business Development
• Prioritize and orchestrate high-impact customer meetings in close coordination with senior leadership to maximize business outcomes

The Director of Event Planning and Graduate Engagement is a highly responsible position dealing with university and Foundation leadership, requiring consistent professionalism and effective communication.
The position will have a dual reporting line with the event portion of the position reporting to the Chief of Staff, Communications and Government Affairs and the graduate engagement reporting to Vice President for Development at the LSUHS Foundation.
The event portion of the responsibilities involves managing all institutional events to include: commencement ceremonies in May and August, White Coat Ceremony for MD’s and PA’s, Graduate Research Day, designated retirement receptions for high level and/or long tenured faculty or administrators, milestone events for degree programs and/or schools, celebratory events due to high level recognition of the institution, a school or individual, mini-med, Preview Days for Schools, etc. Additionally, event planning guidance and execution will be provided for department-level events.
The graduate engagement portion of the responsibilities involves coordinating alumni engagement for LSU Health Shreveport’s residency and basic science graduate programs. The institution has forty-seven accredited residency and fellowship programs and several PhD and Master’s tracks in the School of Graduate Studies. The LSU Health Sciences Foundation has traditionally managed LSU Health Medical Alumni affairs and assisted with alumni programming for the School of Health Professions and Sciences. This new shared position will, for the first time, extend the Foundation’s alumni engagement services to LSU Health Shreveport’s residency and basic science graduate programs.
Position will involve evening and weekend hours.

Essential Position Functions and Duties
45% - Event Planning
- Consultation with clients to understand the scope and objectives of the event and to determine the optimal location on campus for the event.
- Reserve event location or locations.
- Plan all aspects of the event to include budget, timeline, venue, seating, menu, guest list, audiovisual needs, signage needs, parking, etc.
- Coordinate event logistics to include IT, UPD, environmental services being onsite, delivery of tables, chairs, tablecloths, florals, food, drink, etc.

A post-event document should be developed to allow for analysis of events to determine if they met goals and objectives, including the budget.
- Supervise staff involved in the execution of the event, including custodial staff, caterers, etc.
45% - Graduate Engagement
- Plan residency program and graduate school alumni programming that supports the school’s strategic priorities and aims to increase alumni engagement and gift participation, targeting engagement and relational stewardship.
- Ensure accurate and complete residency program and graduate school alumni database records by capturing relevant contact, biographical, and career information through alumni communication vehicles and in-house research.
- Establish and build relationships with residency program and graduate school alumni through reunions and national conference events, as well as regular communication via direct contact, email, website, social media, etc.
- Collaborate closely with development colleagues to increase residency program and graduate school alumni support, identify and qualify prospects for giving, communicate development-related interactions via contact reports, and attend prospect management meetings
- In consultation with the LSU Health Shreveport Communications Office, develop a communications engagement strategy which may include print, websites, email, social media, etc.

Qualifications
Minimum
- A two-year degree with six years of proven experience in event planning for large events (minimum 500 attendees), plus proven experience in strong relationship building and management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Industry Certification from an accredited university, preferably in event management, hospitality, communications, project management, and/or a related field, with a minimum of five years of proven event planning and relationship management experience.
- MS Office Proficiency

Summary of Position:
The Program Coordinator, Center for Diplomatic Engagement supports and coordinates the day-to-day elements of the Center for Diplomatic Engagement, with an emphasis on Diplomatic Receptions and Signature events, as well as other convening programs for the diplomatic corps and initiatives across Meridian?s Open Diplomacy Centers. Program Implementation & Event Production (60%)
- Plan and execute two new ambassador welcome receptions each year, including event production, logistical coordination, speaker preparation, and diplomatic outreach.
- In partnership with the Director and MCDE colleagues, serve as associate producer?and, as appropriate, lead producer?across assigned MCDE and Open Diplomacy programs, particularly Diplomatic Receptions and signature events.
- Develop strategic event workplans and deliverables, overseeing day-to-day project management to include audience/attendee outreach, registration tracking, correspondence, and post-event follow-up.

- Maintain and enrich the Salesforce database with up-to-date contact and relationship details for all Diplomatic Engagement activities, including but not limited to contact records, event attendance, business development campaigns, and speaker opportunities.
- Monitor and manage Ambassador gift inventory, including tracking distribution in Salesforce and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure appropriate gifting for receptions and high-level engagements.

Administration (15%)
- Backstop financial administration for MCDE, including support for monthly expense reports (receipt collection and tracking, missing receipt documentation), payment and reimbursement requests, and coordination with Development on event-related payments as needed.

This person will partner deeply with enterprise technology to help scope, design and build the next generation of our consumer engagement infrastructure, leveraging the insights and needs of the entire MEEA team – especially member engagement programs and consumer research and performance measurement – as well as those of the broader organization to helps us advance our core member engagement-driven strategic imperatives, which includes member navigation.

- Lead the consumer experience and engagement ‘enablement’ strategic portfolio project work project:
- Be the day-to-day business lead for the staged build of our core member engagement operational data platform

- For example, partner with the Associate Director of Member Engagement Programs and colleagues in Performance Measurement and Improvement (PMI) and Health and Medical Management to evaluate new machine learning and CenAI algorithms/tools that identify key points on members’ clinical journeys, the most impactful opportunities for navigation/guidance/intervention and how to prioritize across multiple clinical pathways when a member has multiple conditions, as well as factoring in other key interactions with BCBSMA to maximize relevance, strengthen our relationship with the member and increase the impact of engagement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required

The Community Engagement and Belonging (CEB) Program Assistant provides administrative, programmatic, and on-site support to advance Otis College’s Community Engagement and Belonging initiatives. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Community Engagement and Belonging, this fixed-term, part-time role supports the planning and execution of campus programs, cultural observances, and signature experiences that foster connection, belonging, and student engagement.
The Program Assistant will help implement programs and events, provide logistical and administrative coordination, and contribute to creating inclusive spaces for students across identities, including race, ethnicity, nationality, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, religion, ideology, and physical and mental ability.

2.1 Program & Event Support

- Otis Creatives Institute (OCI) programming, including required in-person support from August 14-23, 2026, for student leader training, student leader retreat, and the OCI Pre-Orientation Program.
- Creatives Institute Peer Mentor (CIPM) community programming: Black Creatives, Latinx Creatives, and Queer and Trans (QT+)
- Culture Fest and end-of-year celebrations
- Support planning and execution of lunches, vendor fairs, community check-ins, and student engagement activities.
2.2 Administrative & Operational Support
