SOCIAL WORKER (MA/MSW)

We are currently seeking a Fulltime Social Worker/Case Manager to join our team.

The Social Worker/Case Manager provides clinical social work/case management services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System, the NASW and if licensed, the licensing board of Pennsylvania. The Social Worker/Case Manager is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

Master's Degree in a Behavioral Healthcare field required, Master's degree in Social Work preferred

PA License preferred

Must possess knowledge of case management, discharge planning, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, individual and family therapy theory and practice, and behavioral health/substance use

Prior experience working with a psychiatric behavioral health population between 1-3 years required, 3-5 years preferred
