Position Details:

- Sign-On Bonus $2,500 (for eligible applicants)

- 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Monday, Thursday, Friday

Overview

Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more.

Role Purpose

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders

Responsibilities

- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.

Overview:

Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Overview:

Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
  • Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
  • Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
  • Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
    • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
    • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

What You Will Do


Customer Experience

  • Participate in the physical inventory process and ensure shortage prevention initiatives are executed.

This role leads, expands, and integrates system-wide volunteer programs, enterprise events, Gift Shop activities, and mailroom services across SNHH. Fresno VA Medical Center VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS), located in Fresno, California, is part of VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN21), which includes facilities in California, Nevada, and Hawaii.

VACCHCS is a 57-bed acute care, general medical and surgical center with state-of-the-art primary, secondary and tertiary care in major diagnostic, and treatment specializations.
