RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description: Operate a hydraulic lattice boom or telescoping type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights and perform other related operations.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid, OSHA-recognized crane operator certification (NCCER, NCCCO).
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Operate crane to lift, move and position loads as required by the job.
- Pre-Operation inspection to ensure crane and all of its components are in proper working order.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Planner/Scheduler, you will:
- Lead project teams in interactive planning sessions to develop work-flow plans, schedules, and detailed labor plans.
- Integrate planning information into the schedule verifying alignment with client expectations.
- Update schedule with progress and monitor key work sequences, including milestones, to identify then notify project team of deviations to the baseline.

The incumbent in this position is a senior leader responsible for driving delivery of a large, multi-year capital program across multiple locations. This role oversees day-to-day construction management operations, standardizes controls and reporting, and ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. The Assistant Director serves as the Director’s second-in-command and is expected to be capable of assuming Director-level responsibilities as needed. The incumbent serves as the Tribe’s owner-side construction leader for multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating activities with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or similarly related field is required. Master’s Degree is highly preferred. Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in construction management or owner’s representation with demonstrated responsibility for cost, schedule, quality, and safety, with at least five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role managing teams and/or multiple projects concurrently is a must. Working knowledge of construction means and methods, Capital Project Management scheduling, estimating, pay application review, submittals/RFIs, and project controls is required. Professional credentials such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) or American Institute of Constructors (AIC), Professional Engineer (PE), OSHA 30 Certification or equivalent credentials is highly desired. Proven track record delivering complex capital projects (vertical and/or infrastructure) with budgets in the multi-million to large program scale. Prior Florida market experience, especially within municipal, tribal, or public sector capital delivery environments, and/or implementing standardized project controls and reporting across a portfolio is highly desired. Our team is seeking a Boiler & Turbine Systems Subject Matter Specialist to serve as our top authority on boiler, HRSG, turbine, condenser, and steam‑system design and performance. This is a high‑impact role supporting major industrial and pulp & paper utility operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Job Scope: The Boiler & Turbine Systems Subject Matter Specialist serves as the organization’s top technical authority for industrial steam and power‑generation systems, providing expert guidance on boiler, HRSG, turbine, condenser, and steam‑system design and sizing. This role leads thermal cycle modeling, equipment specification, and system integration for both new installations and major upgrades across industrial and pulp‑and‑paper utility operations. With extensive experience in boiler and turbine projects—and preferably OEM exposure—the specialist ensures robust, efficient, and reliable power‑and‑steam solutions across the facility.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Extensive boiler and turbine projects experience across FEL/FEED through detail design and start‑up support (cogeneration/CHP, new installs, retrofits, and debottlenecking).
- Proven ability to perform and stamp/lead core calculations and deliverables: heat & mass balances, Rankine/Brayton/combined‑cycle analysis, steam/water balances, duty/flow/pressure sizing for boilers, HRSGs (single/multi‑pressure, with/without duct firing), steam turbines (backpressure & condensing), gas turbines integration, and condenser selection/sizing (duty, approach, vacuum, CW options, air‑cooled vs. water‑cooled).
- Steam system design & controls: header configuration and pressure‑level strategy, letdown/PRV stations, desuperheating/attemperation, bypass/relief and PSV sizing, condensate return, DA/feedwater systems, and overall mill steam stability and turndown.
- Creation/review of PFDs/P&IDs, equipment datasheets/specs, control narratives, and commissioning plans; vendor bid technical evaluations and lifecycle cost comparisons.
Ideal Background
Education: B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, or Power Engineering; P.E. is preferred but not required.
Experience: 20+ years in industrial boiler/HRSG/turbine project engineering for mill utilities, power islands, or CHP.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Codes/standards and typical methods: ASME BPVC Section I, ASME B31.1, HEI condenser standards, API 611/612, API 616, TEMA, NFPA 85, and ISA valve/control practices.
- Strong working knowledge of Thermoflow (e.g., THERMOFLEX/GT PRO/STEAM PRO), or equivalent cycle modeling tools; familiarity with AFT Fathom/Arrow or PIPE‑FLO for hydraulic calculations; proficiency with Excel‑based sizing sheets and data reconciliation.
- Practical integration on pulp & paper power islands and mill utility systems (e.g., steam ties to paper machines, recovery/power boiler interfaces, load swings, islanding strategies, and balance‑of‑plant impacts).

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school or apprenticeship completion preferred.
- 6+ years commercial/industrial plumbing experience, including 2+ years leading crews (lead/journeyman/foreman).
- Working knowledge of IPC/UPC and Indiana/local codes; able to read/interpret blueprints, isometrics, specs, and submittals.
- Proficient with layout, material take-offs, and installation of domestic water, sanitary/vent, storm, natural gas, and hydronic systems.
- Hands-on experience with copper (solder/braze), steel (thread/weld/groove), cast iron (no-hub), PEX/CPVC; able to commission and pressure test.
- Strong planning, crew scheduling, and mentoring skills; proven track record of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Computer/mobile proficiency (email, PDFs, timekeeping, field apps such as Bluebeam/PlanGrid/Procore or similar).
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record; ability to travel within Indiana and work overtime/weekends as needed.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights/on lifts, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.

Position Summary
The Traveling HVAC Startup Controls Foreman is responsible for the supervision, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new and existing mechanical systems in commercial and industrial buildings. This role ensures that all HVAC and control systems are installed, tested, and functioning according to project specifications, building codes, and client expectations. The Foreman provides leadership in the field, supports apprentices and technicians, and collaborates with project managers and engineers to ensure safe, efficient, and successful project delivery. This is a 100% travel job.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Commission and start up commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including refrigeration systems, air handling units, temperature controls, and heat pumps.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair existing HVAC and control systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
- Install and pressure test refrigeration piping systems and verify connections meet specifications.
- Ensure all startup and commissioning documentation, including service work orders and forms, are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Coordinate work activities with other trades and departments to avoid conflicts and maintain project schedules.
- Provide on-site supervision, direction, and training to apprentices and technicians assigned to startup and service tasks.
- Monitor job progress and report status updates to project managers and leadership.
- Enforce company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site.
- Act as a technical resource for clients and ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and service delivery.
- Perform additional duties as required to support project and company objectives.

- Minimum 5 years of refrigeration / service technician experience with preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of Commercial and / or Industrial HVAC Equipment, Systems and Buildings
- Universal or type 2/3 Refrigeration Certification required
- Must maintain a neat appearance and take pride in quality work
- Requires excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be safety conscious, well organized and have good verbal / writing skills
- Must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, help prepare quotes and repair refrigeration for air handling systems and equipment including boilers, chillers, exhaust fans, controls, refrigeration, heat pumps, steam systems, humidifiers, rooftop, VAV, etc.
- Must be drug free and have a clear current driving record with valid license
Physical Demands
- The position requires standing, bending, reaching, lifting a majority of the workday.

- Must be able to work at heights of up to 100 feet or more.
