Profile:

The Production Control Manager will oversee the planning, coordination and execution of daily order fulfillment activities at the G-III warehouse. This role ensures that production plans align with business demand across all channels, driving efficiency, accuracy and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities:

Daily Planning & Execution

  • Develop, communicate, and manage daily production plans based on order volume, SKU mix, store allocations, and e-commerce fulfillment needs.
  • Monitor production progress throughout the day, communicate to leaders to make real-time adjustments to staffing and communicate proper priorities to meet cut-off and carrier schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with Inventory Control, Allocation, and Transportation teams to ensure accurate and on-time order processing.

Performance & Process Management

  • Track and analyze productivity, throughput, and labor efficiency by department and channel.
  • Identify bottlenecks, process variances, and opportunities for improvement to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
  • Partner with Operations teams to optimize WMS (Warehouse Management System) functions, wave planning, and order flow.
  • Lead post-shift reviews to assess performance against plan and recommend operational adjustments.

System & Data Control

  • Manage order waves and production sequencing within the WMS to balance workload across departments.
  • Maintain data integrity and timely updates to dashboards, reports, and KPIs used for labor forecasting and decision-making.
  • Ensure all production control activities comply with company policies and operational standards.

Leadership & Communication

  • Lead and develop a team of wave planners and routing clericals.
  • Serve as the communication bridge between operations, planning, customer service, and transportation teams.
  • Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on workload forecasting, labor planning, and daily goal attainment.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all production control processes support a safe working environment and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, basic data manipulation, charts, graphs) and data analytics tools; experience with KPI dashboards preferred.

The pay range for this position is: $75,000 per year -$85,000 per year

Profile:

The Retail Marketplace Operations Manager will support the following:

  • Direct-to-consumer shipping activities including marketplace, drop-shipments, and direct to consumer
  • Returns management and disposition
  • Retail and outlet shipping for owned stores


The Manager will play a key role in fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders in Distribution Operations and the Retail team to optimize performance. This role will support the continuous improvement of the returns process, as well as helping to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise directly to customers or GIII retail outlets.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in returns management, e-commerce operations, and supply chain logistics, with strong leadership abilities to optimize these areas and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to analyze and accelerate strategies that define and implement best practices for merchandise returns, inventory placement, and disposition.
  • Develop and implement the overall returns strategy to improve customer satisfaction and optimize the returns process, reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Lead the development and roll-out of enhanced direct-to-consumer shipping and retail programs to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products directly to customers.
  • Compiling forecasts to be used by the operational teams.
  • Monitor the D2C and retail supply chain performance to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. This includes working closely with the GIII facility and 3PL leadership teams and the internal operations management team.

  • Identify and execute process improvements for returns handling, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with company policies and customer expectations.
  • Monitor and analyze returns data, identifying trends, root causes, and areas of opportunity for continuous improvement. Provide regular reports to leadership on key metrics, such as return rates, product defects, and cost of returns.
  • Develop and manage KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying opportunities to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

The Production Assistant supports the Production team in the management of the pre-production and production stages of product (garment) lifecycle from initial prototype to finished goods delivery. Creates new style numbers and ensures all supporting data is accurately entered into PLM. Maintains and updates seasonal fabric standards to ensure consistent usage across programs. Education and Experience:
