From your PASSION to ours

Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a HR Core Services Intern based in Buffalo, New York.

This paid internship will work a minimum of twenty hours per week. The Human Resource Core Services Intern will assist the Core Services Department with various HR assignments and projects within Lactalis USA. The HR Intern will support a team of HR professionals with projects in the areas of Benefits, HR Systems, Payroll, HR Policy and Procedures, and other capacities of Human Resources.


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide support on daily tasks in line with department objectives including auditing employee changes, reporting, and various HR projects
  • Conduct internal HR Audits of employee records, policies & procedures, recurring deductions, status change forms, payroll data, and system configurations
  • Complete data analysis allowing departments to reach informed decisions
  • Enter, maintain and process items such as wage garnishments, child support deductions, and unemployment documents
  • Respond to and resolve questions and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide assistance in key project plan tasks (i.e. payroll projects, software migrations, etc.); follow-through to complete on time and with accuracy
  • Assist with mandatory reporting, such as Affirmative Action, EEO, CA Pay Data, and ACA, as well as other internal reporting requirements
  • Conduct benefit audits to identify vendor remittance discrepancies and ensure employee deduction accuracy
  • Review, correct, and track various human resources documents including I-9's and various other intra-company forms
  • Facilitate communication among individuals' inter-office and intra-office
  • Create manuals and standard operating procedures for new processes
  • Assist with production of communication materials for the Core Services department, including Benefit Newsletters, Wellness Communications, and HRIS/Payroll updates
  • Assist with organizing and resolving tax notices and related issues

Education

  • In order to fill this position, the candidate must be a full time college student or recent graduate, in their sophomore year or greater, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business with a concentration in HR Management.

Skills/Abilities

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR information.
  • Task-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Strong skills - organizing, multi-tasking, and prioritizing

Meritus Health in Hagerstown, MD, is seeking two Core Faculty for its ACGME-accredited Meritus Family Medicine Residency (MFMR). A foundational goal of the program is to train exceptional family physicians to meet the needs of patients, families and communities. Fundamentally, the program seeks to inspire residents along their individual journey and to promote their unique passions and aspirations as family physician leaders. This is accomplished through purposeful dialogue about building spiritual, emotional, physical and intellectual capacity in the chaotic world of medicine. We are searching for a core faculty who value these approaches in teaching, learning, modeling and leading.

The MFMR began in 2019 and graduated its first class in 2022. Currently the program is accredited for 18 (6-6-6) resident trainees. The program has received excellent reviews from each ACGME site visit and inspection, and currently holds no citations. Further, the program maintains outstanding support from senior health system leadership. Administrative duties will account for 0.6 FTE and clinical duties account for 0.4 FTE. Clinical duties are flexible and tailored to your interests. These can include inpatient, outpatient, obstetrics and/or osteopathic manipulation. The program has an Osteopathic Recognition designation by the ACGME. Preference for physicians who can perform and teach osteopathic manipulation but not required.

Meritus Health is committed to growing and supporting medical education at all levels by transitioning to an academic institution. This transition includes development of the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine which welcomed its first class in July 2025. Meritus also has a new psychiatry residency which welcomed its first class in July 2025. Further GME expansion planning includes addition of a general surgery residency, internal medicine residency, sports medicine fellowship and potential others. The MFMR core faculty will have resources to assist the program director in advancing the program in line with the educational mission of the system, with support from all levels of the organization and community.

Core Faculty Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree with current board certification and participation in maintenance of certification by the American Board Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
  • Current or past experience teaching medical students and/or residents.
  • Current or past experience creating education curricula
  • Demonstrated excellence and passion for clinical care, clinical teaching, and scholarly activity that advance clinical medicine and institutional service

AdventHealth is a network of ten hospitals around the greater Orlando area, which total approximately 3,000 beds. AdventHealth operates many hospitals across nine different states; 30 of which are in Florida. Our mission has remained the same and is to Extend the Healing Ministry of Christ.

Since 1908, AdventHealth Orlando has cared for the Central Florida community as well as patients from around the world. AdventHealth Orlando is an acute-care, tertiary hospital caring for approximately 300,000 patients a year. As the primary campus for more than 1,000 physicians, AdventHealth Orlando is home to nationally recognized Centers of Excellence for Cancer, Cardiology, Children, Diabetes, Neuroscience, Orthopaedics, and Abdominal and Cardiothoracic Transplant.

AdventHealth Orlando was named a 2024-2025 Best Hospital by the magazine U.S. News & World Report. The hospital was ranked No. 1 in the Orlando metro area, and No. 4 in the state. It is the 14th year in a row AdventHealth Orlando has claimed the top spot in Orlando. In addition, the hospital was ranked among the top 50 in the nation for four specialties: diabetes and endocrinology; neurology and neurosurgery; obstetrics and gynecology and ear, nose and throat.

AtlantiCare — a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient and the largest healthcare system in southeastern New Jersey — has an exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified Family Medicine D.O. or M.D. to join the core faculty of our Family Medicine Residency program in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Join a faculty team that recently graduated its third class of four Family Medicine residents in this 4-4-4 residency program. This role will allow you to develop and implement a curriculum that enhances the clinical education and scholarly advancement for your residents in the hospital and an FQHC outpatient clinic. This is a unique learning environment that will allow you to precept with residents as they oversee an assigned panel of patients in an FQHC continuity clinic. The new Family Medicine faculty physician will split time between teaching and providing direct patient care for patients at the FQHC clinic, as well as providing supervision of residents on the inpatient Family Medicine Teaching Service.

The successful candidate should be a patient-focused Board-Certified Family Medicine physician with a passion for teaching and providing comprehensive care for the underserved. Experience in graduate medical education is preferred.
