Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney (Hybrid)

A well-established litigation firm in Phoenix is seeking a motivated Insurance Defense Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions, including parties, witnesses, and experts
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
• Provide strategic case analysis and litigation recommendations
• Meet a 2,100 annual billable hour requirement

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Arizona Bar license (or ability to obtain promptly)
• 2+ years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Deposition and motion practice experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Strong communication and client management skills
