Position Overview:
The Animation/Motion Graphics position will design and produce 3D assets while ensuring brand consistency across digital, social, retail, PDP, in-store, and experiential environments.
The ideal candidate blends 3D animation and motion design and can translate renderings or imagery into polished multimedia outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept, produce, and optimize imagery, animation, and video with familiarity using AI creative tools.
- Animate and adapt assets for digital, social, retail media, ecommerce (PDP), in-store displays, and experiential environments.
- Work across disciplines (motion graphics and animation) to develop and scale content.
- Partner with cross-functional creative/marketing teams to understand workload and provide strategic input.
- Convert static renderings or imagery into dynamic, multi-format content.
Required Skills & Tools:
- Strong proficiency in traditional creative/motion software: After Effects, Premiere, Figma motion, Blender (or other 3D tools)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced in-house creative environment; adaptable to changing priorities.
- AI tool experience a huge plus (but not required)
- Ability to take various asset types and transform them into new creative outputs.

The hourly rate for this position is $25-28/hour. We are seeking a part-time Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor to join our team in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on producing high-quality video content for corporate 1031 Crowdfunding business accounts, The Ed Fernandez Show podcast, and other brands within our umbrella of companies. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with technical proficiency, capable of working in a fast-paced environment to produce engaging content optimized for performance across various platforms.
Video Responsibilities
- Edit and enhance video clips for various social media platforms, ensuring high-quality visuals, audio, and overall production value.
- Create and integrate animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to elevate video content and storytelling.
- Create and curate social media content (including graphics and videos) across multiple platforms
- Create engaging and compelling short-form video content from longer videos, interviews, events, or other sources, tailored to each social media platform's best practices.
- Work with the Director of Marketing to create social advertisements.
Graphic Design
- Develop and design creative visual materials such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, infographics, banner ads, email marketing graphics and other marketing collateral
- Web and App UX/UI design
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all design materials align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the company's messaging
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent work experience a plus. Students will also be considered.
- Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve experience preferred (or comparable software)

The College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor in Illustration and Animation/Game Arts, beginning September 1, 2026. The teaching load is five studio courses per academic year.
The College seeks a dynamic, imaginative illustrator, animator, artist, and educator who is passionate about student success in interdisciplinary art and design. This position emphasizes illustrated narrative and sequential visual storytelling across print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual art skills, be well-versed in industry trends, demonstrate expertise in professional creative work and research in a variety of contexts, and integrate traditional methods with current and emerging technologies.
The appointed individual will be responsible for teaching a variety of intermediate and advanced courses in Illustration, Animation, or Game Arts. In addition to leading undergraduate classes, the faculty member will mentor graduate students, foster independent inquiry at advanced levels, contribute to curriculum development and assessment, advise students, and engage in service at the departmental, college, and university levels, while maintaining an active creative and scholarly practice.
In a rapidly changing creative landscape, the role of the artist in shaping stories and images remains essential. We seek a colleague who inspires students to engage critically and creatively with both traditional methods and new possibilities, while modeling curiosity, adaptability, and artistic excellence.
Minimum qualifications:
- A terminal degree, such as an MFA, PhD, MDes, MS, in Illustration, Animation, Game Arts, Digital Media, Media Arts, or a closely related discipline;
- At least four years of professional creative practice and achievement or relevant college-level teaching experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Illustration and Animation/Game Arts, showing proficiency in current industry methods, technologies, and practices, and able to mentor students in developing creative skills and critical thinking.
Preferred qualifications:
- At least three years of experience teaching in Illustration at the college-level, with particular interest in illustrated narrative and sequential visual storytelling across print and digital platforms.
- Breadth of proficiency across digital tools and physical media and the ability to adapt to evolving platforms and practices.
An active record of exhibitions, scholarship, or industry collaborations; - Engagement with emerging technologies or cross-disciplinary approaches that enhance student learning;
Demonstrated commitment to mentorship, inclusivity, and community engagement.
