Essential Requirements
8+ years experience in SDET, Quality Assurance Automation or software engineering (or equivalent skill); must include experience with distributed systems, clustering and high availability testing
Strong coding skills in Python, Go Lang or automation scripting languages with proficiency in automation frameworks (PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)
Experience with Linux, containers (Docker/K8s), and networking fundamentals and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)

What You Will Do

  • Supports all aspects of a software development life cycle as members of a multi-disciplined team. This would include supporting new and legacy military and commercial programs from concept and requirements, to design, development, integration, test, and potentially subsequent maintenance tasking.

Qualifications You Must Have

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer to join our team in one of the listed locations.

We are seeking Systems Engineers with Demonstrated ability to apply systems engineering principles in modern software environments, with strong understanding of DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native architectures. Candidates should be comfortable working across disciplines to integrate hardware, software, and mission systems in secure environments, collaborating closely with developers and test engineers to validate end-to-end functionality. Experience with containerized applications, automated build and test processes, and infrastructure as code is essential to ensuring system performance, security, and mission assurance. Position Responsibilities

  • Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability across the lifecycle.
