Full-Time | Evening / Closing Focus (6-10 Hour Shifts)

Now Hiring: Assistant Store Manager (Closing Shift)
Deep Sea Headquarters, a premier fishing charter and marina destination in Port Aransas, is seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Store Manager to oversee evening operations and closing procedures .
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in retail management, hospitality, marina operations, or tourism-based businesses who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and execute all closing procedures , including cash reconciliation and daily reporting
* Supervise evening staff and ensure smooth retail and dockside operations
* Deliver excellent customer service , assisting guests with bookings, tickets, and inquiries
* Handle cash registers, POS systems, and credit card transactions accurately
* Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked retail environment
* Ensure the property is properly secured at closing (store, dock, equipment)
* Assist with team leadership, training, and staff support
* Occasionally support opening shifts and morning operations as needed

Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, or assistant management (preferred)
* Strong leadership and team supervision skills
* Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and daily sales reporting
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-traffic environment
* Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand for extended periods (6-10 hour shifts)
* Ability to lift 30-50 lbs (ice, bait, merchandise)
* Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor coastal conditions
