The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and UVA Health Children’s seek candidates for a faculty position on a clinician or clinician-scientist track at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank to join our growing program. The appointee will join an outstanding group of clinicians, clinician-scientists and staff dedicated to the wellness of children and with deep expertise in caring for those with cancer and blood disorders, including hematologic malignancies, sarcomas and embryonal tumors, central nervous system malignancies, non-malignant disorders of an hematopoietic/immune/inflammatory nature, and similarly providing cutting edge cellular and immune therapies. You would join the highly collaborative environment of the University of Virginia, UVA Health and the number 1 ranked children’s hospital in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, clinical excellence, curiosity, and interpersonal skills characterized by collegiality, humility and a service-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in the design and conduct of investigator-initiated clinical trials directed toward improving health outcomes for children with cancer and blood disorders. Experience working with scientific teams in a “lab-to-bedside-to-lab” workflow is highly desired, as is integration of our clinical enterprise with research opportunities. While this is a clinically-focused position, there are diverse opportunities for clinic-translational research in partnership with our NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The transplant hepatology section hosts one of the longest standing liver transplant programs in the United States. The Division is also home to a nationally-recognized Advanced Endoscopy Section for the development and management of ERCP, EUS, and management of complex pancreas/biliary disorders. The Division continues to maintain the highest ambitions for excellence in all three of its major missions: patient services, teaching, and research.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship training program.

  • Board eligible/certified with the ABIM in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

  • Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.

  • Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA.

Pay and Benefits:

This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for the clinical effort of this position is $300,917 - $523.580 commensurate with experience and qualifications.? The additional salary from the University is dependent upon the academic effort of the person hired.

About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. All ECE undergraduate and graduate programs are in the top five of the most recent college rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

In addition to the main campus in Atlanta, Georgia, ECE also has permanent operations at Georgia Tech-Lorraine in France. The College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor in Illustration and Animation/Game Arts, beginning September 1, 2026. The teaching load is five studio courses per academic year.


The College seeks a dynamic, imaginative illustrator, animator, artist, and educator who is passionate about student success in interdisciplinary art and design. This position emphasizes illustrated narrative and sequential visual storytelling across print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual art skills, be well-versed in industry trends, demonstrate expertise in professional creative work and research in a variety of contexts, and integrate traditional methods with current and emerging technologies.


The appointed individual will be responsible for teaching a variety of intermediate and advanced courses in Illustration, Animation, or Game Arts. In addition to leading undergraduate classes, the faculty member will mentor graduate students, foster independent inquiry at advanced levels, contribute to curriculum development and assessment, advise students, and engage in service at the departmental, college, and university levels, while maintaining an active creative and scholarly practice.


In a rapidly changing creative landscape, the role of the artist in shaping stories and images remains essential. We seek a colleague who inspires students to engage critically and creatively with both traditional methods and new possibilities, while modeling curiosity, adaptability, and artistic excellence.


Minimum qualifications:



  • A terminal degree, such as an MFA, PhD, MDes, MS, in Illustration, Animation, Game Arts, Digital Media, Media Arts, or a closely related discipline;
  • At least four years of professional creative practice and achievement or relevant college-level teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Illustration and Animation/Game Arts, showing proficiency in current industry methods, technologies, and practices, and able to mentor students in developing creative skills and critical thinking.

Preferred qualifications:



  • At least three years of experience teaching in Illustration at the college-level, with particular interest in illustrated narrative and sequential visual storytelling across print and digital platforms.
  • Breadth of proficiency across digital tools and physical media and the ability to adapt to evolving platforms and practices.
    An active record of exhibitions, scholarship, or industry collaborations;
  • Engagement with emerging technologies or cross-disciplinary approaches that enhance student learning;
    Demonstrated commitment to mentorship, inclusivity, and community engagement.
