Neurologist

We are seeking a Neurologist (Locum Tenens) for a well-supported outpatient practice in Santa Monica, CA. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for a consistent schedule, strong clinical support, and no hospital responsibilities.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday (3–5 days/week)
• Preference for full-time (40 hours/week)
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No call required

Practice Setting

• 100% Adult Outpatient Neurology
• 13–15 patients per day
• Supported by 2 Medical Assistants + 1 Front Office staff
• No supervising responsibilities
• No hospital privileges required
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

• General Neurology (headache, dizziness, neuropathy)
• Migraine management (acute + preventative, including cluster headaches)
• Epilepsy (basic management, medication adjustments, safety counseling)

Required Procedural Skills

• Botox injections
• Occipital nerve blocks & basic peripheral nerve blocks
• Trigger point injections

(EEG, EMG, NCV, and evoked potentials not required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing an established patient panel
• Prior outpatient/private practice or community setting experience
• Familiarity with prior authorizations
• Strong EMR experience (Epic preferred)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
