Job Summary:
The Clinical Director is an experienced, licensed clinician who oversees the clinical operations of two Evolve residential programs in Walnut Creek and Lafayette. The Clinical Director works alongside the Operations Manager to ensure that all administrative, operations, and compliance needs are being met. All duties listed below apply to both programs that the Clinical Director oversees.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight to the programs and ensure that all quality, clinical excellence, and safety measures are maintained.
- Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed staff per BBS requirements
- Provide tours for prospective clients and their families and support Primary Therapists as needed in supporting client’s families.
- Ensure that the program’s clinical approach remains behavioral and skills-based and in line with Evolve’s mission and values.
- Facilitate weekly Treatment Team meetings, regular clinical trainings and provide clinical mentorship, compile behavioral feedback for clients, and ensure meeting notes are taken and distributed
- Regularly review and audit clinical documentation for the program in order to maintain internal and licensing standards
- Assist with coverage of individual, family, and group therapy sessions as needed during Primary Therapist absences.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the teams.
- Provide direct supervision and facilitate weekly meetings with the Primary Therapists, and Operations Manager to provide oversight and individualized support.
- Effectively manage staff performance and outcomes
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to oversee Residential Counselor and Chef performance and participate in implementation of performance reviews and disciplinary action.
- Create and maintain a positive, collaborative team culture and collaborate with the Operations Manager to facilitate quarterly team-building activities for the team.
- Provide staff with updates/ changes to policies, procedures, and organizational goals
- Maintain the program schedule and ensure that it adheres to Evolve’s program schedule requirements
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in related field
- Must be licensed in California as a LMFT/LCSW/LPCC
- Exceptional clinical judgment
- Knowledge and experience in various therapeutic orientations and treatment modalities
- Provides clear communication both in person and via email
- Demonstrates sensitivity and attentiveness to clinical needs related to disability and/or racial, ethnic, cultural, sexual and gender identity

Requirements:
- Act as the point-person for each assigned client and their family during treatment
- Provide individual and family therapy to each client at a weekly frequency commensurate with the current level of care
- Facilitate 1-2 groups per week and complete group notes in the medical record
- Orient new clients and their caregivers to treatment and the program structure
- Facilitate Biopsychosocial Assessments and Risk Assessments for clients upon admission
- Create comprehensive treatment plans for clients, monitor progress and adjust, as needed

- Support clients and their families with discharge preparation, including after-care and living arrangement planning and Home Contract creation
- Coordinate with Program Director and select clinically appropriate discharge dates for clients
- Assess client belongings for clinical and safety-related appropriateness in a timely manner
- Identify clinically appropriate interventions for clients and communicate them to the Treatment Team, as needed
- Assess client risk throughout treatment and update behavioral interventions and safety plans, as needed per the Risk Assessment Policy and Procedure
- Provide clinical updates on clients during Treatment Team and weekly psychiatry meetings to ensure team coordination regarding client care
- Attend all trainings as assigned by Program Director
- Fulfill mandated reporting requirements as needed and with guidance from the Program Director

Evolve Treatment is a behavioral health and substance abuse recovery program for teens and adolescents.
The Program Director is responsible for running and operating all aspects of our program provided at our new outpatient program located in Elk Grove, CA! The Program Director will also provide supervision to a small and intimate clinical and support staff.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- May carry a caseload of 2-3 clients (as needed), including individual and family therapy
- Assess potential clients, determine and recommend the appropriate level of care
- Run weekly groups, including a weekly “Multi-family Group”
- Lead team collaboration for building group curriculum
- Develop and recommend program goals and objectives; lead team in the design and implementation of appropriate plans to meet agreed-upon goals
- Conduct regular meetings with program staff to provide advice and guidance in resolving complex case problems
- Periodically review client treatment plans with subordinate managers to promote optimal quality and continuity of care
- Implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve problems to promote continuous improvement in the delivery of treatment
- Monitor all program documentation of treatment plans and clinical notes for Utilization Review
- Randomly audit client documentation to confirm record-keeping system complies with all governmental regulations and standards
- Supervise maintenance of electronic medical records in compliance with licensing regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards
- Research, plan, secure approval of, and implement new or enhanced program services
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Interview, hire, and retain program staff by overseeing training and development
- Identify staff development needs and support appropriate training
- Evaluate the performance and competence of staff, and when necessary, discipline and discharge subordinate staff in accordance with established personnel policies (i.e.: Performance evaluations, PIPs, etc.)

- Responsible for the supervision of the intake/discharge processes

Job Summary
Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability. Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage. Counsels patients on the medication prescription including but not limited to: proper administration, possible side effects, expected response, storage and any other questions posed by the patient. Monitors the health and progress of patients in response to drug therapy. Must be able to learn and utilize new technology as the profession of pharmacy evolves. Provides oversight and clinical supervision for pharmacy series and pharmacy support personnel.
In a medical center or institutional setting, the Pharmacist reviews and interprets provider orders, provides drug information, assists in problem solving, and provides other aspects of pharmaceutical care. Duties may consist of unit dose dispensing, IV Admixtures, outpatient prescriptions, navigating the electronic medical record, compounding, and working with automated dispensing devices.
The Pharmacist utilizes appropriate age-related patient information to assess the pharmaceutical needs of patients, which may include provision of pharmaceutical care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The Pharmacist follows all established regulations and standards that govern the practice of pharmacy. May be required to act as a shift supervisor under direct or indirect supervision by department managers. Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to learn and utilize new technology as the profession of pharmacy evolves. Provides oversight and clinical supervision for pharmacy services and pharmacy support personnel. Pharmacy services at Sanford Health may include involvement in acute care surgery, neurology, cardiology, pediatrics, oncology, infusion services, intensive care, general medicine, dialysis, transplant, antimicrobial stewardship, and medication reconciliation. May include decentralized clinical functions, such as direct patient interaction/interdisciplinary team rounding, chart reviews, customer or patient counseling, collecting accurate medication list. May also include centralized clinical functions, such as checking and dispensing medications and overseeing the clinical functions of the IV room.
Qualifications
In a retail/community pharmacy setting: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Must have a thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations.
