What you'll do:
Receives request for advice from current and prospective members through various channels, including inbound and outbound phone calls.
Asks questions to discover key information and retirement events and understands the role of annuities in a retirement income plans, as well as executive and retirement benefits for federal and military employees.
Documents relevant information as it relates to building a retirement income portfolio.

Motivates member to take action on recommendation(s) and overcomes objections using advanced sales techniques and persuasion skills. Implements recommendation(s).
Familiar with the latest retirement strategy research and monitors legislative initiatives that may impact economy, society, and personal financial situation.
Educates membership on implications of economic, industry trends, tax law changes, estate issues, retirement risks, and other threats to an effective retirement income plan, as well as USAA's financial products and services.
Integrate risk management tools, products, and strategies to create an effective retirement income plan.

** LOCATION: Remote 11050 Olson Drive Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA, 95670| (Candidate must reside within 25 miles of Rancho Cordova, CA.)
** DURATION: 6 Months +
** WORK SCHEDULE: 09:00 am – 06:00 pm PST

Note:
- Initial Training will be ONSITE, after training, they will work remotely until TBD.
- Work schedule is 9-6pm PST.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- A Customer Service Specialist shall assist and educate Medi-Cal beneficiaries by selecting a managed health care plan.
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
- Communicating with customers through various channels.
- Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: At least HS diploma / GED
- One year of experience in the field or related area.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and meet quality and production standards set for the position or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently; and computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software programs.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in a health or human services field dealing with the public in a call center environment.
