Unit Description: As an Emergency Department Nurse at CVMC, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team in our busy, community hospital. Our Emergency Department is a 24-bed unit that provides care for an average of 80 patients per day. Our RNs actively participate in the treatment of patients of all ages and with any kind of medical or psychiatric diagnosis.
Our Emergency Room Nurses are trained in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ESI, and AVADE. We highly encourage our staff to become certified in Emergency Nursing (CEN) and Pediatric Emergency Nursing (CPEN). Our nurses also have the opportunity to participate in our Shared Governance Councils and to advance their careers through our Clinical Advancement program. This shift is scheduled for 11am - 11pm.

This 120-day assignment requires you to manage 8+ hour shifts, providing care in both an ambulatory clinic and OR space, performing a variety of interventional pain management procedures, and covering afterhours and weekend office call.
Responsibilities and Duties Provide patient care within an ambulatory clinic and dedicated OR space.
Perform a range of required procedures including ESI (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), MBB (cervical, thoracic lumbar), RFA (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), Nerve blocks (body parts vary), Trigger point injections, Sacroiliac joint injections, Spinal cord stimulator (trials only), Genicular nerve blocks, Genicular RFA, Intercoseal nerve blocks, and Piriformis injections.
Manage scheduled appointments and participate in afterhours and weekend office call.

We are seeking EP candidates proficient in both basic and advanced EP procedures and device implementation. Candidates with interest and competence in complex ablations, including VT, AFib, and laser lead extractions, are strongly preferred. Experience with Watchman procedures is a plus.
