Position Responsibilities:
∙ Support airframe structural designs based on trade studies, research, and analysis.

JOB SUMMARY:
Structural and Steel Products is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Utility Structures Engineering team. This role is responsible for the structural design and engineering of steel pole transmission structures up to 500kV, including monopoles, H-frames, and three-pole structures.
This is an exciting opportunity to help build and shape an expanding in-house engineering department, working directly with executive leadership while contributing to high-impact infrastructure projects for major utility customers. We are looking for a high-performing engineer who enjoys solving complex structural challenges, mentoring junior engineers, and improving engineering processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design utility steel pole transmission structures up to 500kV including monopoles, H-frames, and 3-pole structures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform GPS-based field surveys to capture existing site and utility information
- Collect, verify, and document field data for use in design and construction activities
- Prepare and update drawings using AutoCAD based on field observations and survey results

Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Manages material shortages to ensure Clear to Builds in collaboration with the Purchasing and SLM Team.
- Acts as a liaison between customer project management and internal departments on the introduction of new product requirements.
- Ensures timely and accurate demand management (If the demand is managed by the Planning Team at your Site).
- Effectively Manage Excess, Surplus and Obsolete inventory.
- Identify the impact of excess and obsolescence and drive necessary actions to mitigate it.
- Ensures bills of material are accurate and collaborate with other teams on any engineering changes.
- Collaborates with different stakeholders to achieve Inventory Entitlement targets and drive results.
- Executes actions to meet the Inventory goals (Inventory cash adjusted and Turns), including performing accurate Inventory Projection.
- Maintains continuous Material Supply to achieve the targeted inventory levels and turns.
- Perform material and capacity analysis before loading MPS. Monitor MPS accuracy, attainment and level load metrics and drive necessary actions to improve them.
- Performs Financial Impact Analysis (FIA) to mitigate inventory risk before loading MPS.

- Manages overall relationship with and performance of suppliers. Reviews supplier performance and makes recommendations on changes or disqualifications. Communicates internally committed delivery schedule for purchased materials required in production. Supervises and maintains communications with supplier’s through SCM Tools
- Monitoring and Drive weekly Purchasing KPI performance trend and execution. Buyer due diligence & escalation with materials are available to meet manufacturing build requirements. Addresses and resolves possible material shortages.
- Acts as a liaison with internal/external customers to ensure logistics commitments are met.
- Maintains high level of on-time delivery, including operational tracking of critical shipments.

Category Manager - Raw Materials

We are currently looking to hire a Category Manager – Raw Materials for our client, a U.S.-based industrial manufacturer supporting advanced manufacturing, electrification, and next-generation technologies. Their materials play a critical role across automation, energy, transportation, and other asset-intensive markets, helping strengthen domestic supply chains.
This role is well suited for an experienced category management or strategic sourcing professional who has supported direct materials or commodity sourcing in industrial environments. As Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for critical raw materials while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure supply continuity, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and execute category strategies for raw materials supporting manufacturing and processing operations
- Lead sourcing activities including supplier identification, competitive bidding, negotiations, and contract execution
- Analyze market conditions, cost drivers, and supply risks to support informed sourcing decisions
- Develop cost models, total cost of ownership analyses, and business cases to drive value creation
- Partner cross-functionally to forecast demand and support production and capital project requirements
- Manage supplier performance through scorecards, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and mitigate supply risks through contingency planning, dual sourcing, and inventory strategies
- Maintain accurate pricing, supplier, and contract data within procurement and ERP systems
- Prepare and present sourcing strategies, performance metrics, and risk assessments to leadership
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement within manufacturing, chemicals, mining, or heavy industrial environments
- Experience managing direct material or commodity categories
- Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis, cost modeling, and supplier evaluation
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier relationships
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders in fast-paced operational settings

Job Title: SolidWorks Drafter
Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Position Summary:
We’re looking for a seasoned SolidWorks Drafter with deep experience in steel and metal structural design. In this onsite daily role, you’ll take the lead in reviewing and checking detailed fabrication and structural drawings to ensure they meet industry standards and reflect accurate design intent. You’ll also contribute to drafting and modeling tasks involving complex steel and metal structures like monopoles, utility components, platforms, and custom fabrications.
This role is ideal for someone who has spent over two decades in detailing and checking, and who brings both the technical knowledge and practical insight needed to support high-quality, shop-ready structural drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and check engineering drawings for steel and metal structures for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with internal and industry standards. Poles and utility structures desired.
- Verify weld symbols, material specifications, tolerances, dimensions, and fabrication details for constructability and compliance.
- Work directly with engineers and drafters to resolve drawing discrepancies and ensure design intent is properly captured.
- Perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling in Solidworks, with an emphasis on fabrication-ready deliverables.
- Interpret redlines, sketches, and markups to ensure revisions are accurately incorporated.
- Maintain drawing control, document revisions, and enforce version management standards.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of internal drafting/checking processes, templates, and standards.
- Ensure final drawing packages are suitable for shop fabrication, vendor review, and field installation.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of detailing and checking experience with a strong focus on steel and metal structures. Poles, telecommunications, power, and utility structures desired.
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Solidworks and drawing management systems.
- Strong working knowledge of structural steel design, metal fabrication methods, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with relevant structural standards (e.g., AISC, AWS) and shop detailing practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, or missing information in drawings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
