  • Build trust with the workforce by engaging employees directly in safety conversations, soliciting input on hazards and near-misses, and ensuring concerns are acted upon visibly and promptly.
  • Implement and sustain proactive safety practices including daily pre-shift safety briefings, job hazard analyses (JHAs), behavior-based safety observations, and structured toolbox talks.
  • Establish clear leading indicator metrics (near-miss reporting, hazard identification, safety observation rates) alongside lagging metrics (TRIR, DART) to track program progress and drive accountability.
  • Lead thorough root cause analyses for all incidents and near-misses; develop corrective action plans and track to closure, sharing learnings across the shop floor.
  • Partner with the Safety department to develop and deliver role-specific safety training programs that build competency and reinforce cultural expectations.


People & Team Leadership


  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of welders, fabricators, machinists, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews; provide coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment that promotes accountability and employee engagement.
  • Coordinate with HR on workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, and labor relations.


Financial & Business Management


  • Manage the plant operating budget; monitor costs, control variances, and identify savings opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular KPI reports (on-time delivery, scrap rate, safety metrics) to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate capital equipment needs and develop business cases for plant investment.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing/fabrication experience, with at least 5 years in a plant or operations management role.
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry or Construction certification (required within 90 days of hire).
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or demonstrated oversight experience with certified welding programs.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld procedures (WPS/PQR), and material test reports (MTRs).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with experience managing teams of 25+ employees.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and standard MS Office applications.

Required Skills:


  • Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing.

Champion Enterprise & ISV Partner Workflows

  • Serve as the voice of enterprise software partners — from technical architects to product leaders — ensuring our APIs, documentation, and certification processes reflect the needs of real integration teams. 
  • Map and optimize end-to-end partner workflows: onboarding → certification → go-live → reporting → revenue share → compliance.
  • Translate integration complexity (devices, stores, payment endpoints, invoicing, virtual terminals, headless POS) into scalable, configurable platform solutions.

Drive Payments & Commerce Platform Capabilities

  • Partner with engineering to define APIs and services for payments, orders, catalog, inventory, customers, and sales channels that support both embedded and in-person commerce.
  • Build support for advanced enterprise requirements including: 
    • Multi-entity and multi-location configuration
    • Reporting and commissions APIs
    • Activity and transaction tracking
    • Risk and fraud scoring hooks
    • Customer authentication and tokenization flows
    • Reseller administrator portal
  • Collaborate with Payments, Risk, and FinOps teams to ensure accurate settlement, reporting, and reconciliation across embedded payment flows.

Influence and Collaborate with Enterprise Clients

  • Meet directly with enterprise partners and resellers to understand their technical and business integration needs, gather feedback, and guide co-development pilots and close sales.
  • Partner with Business Development and Solutions Engineering to support partner evaluation cycles, ensuring APIs, sandbox tools, and documentation demonstrate enterprise-grade capability and reliability.
  • Translate client conversations into actionable platform requirements, balancing enterprise flexibility with platform scalability.

Deliver Hypothesis-Driven Product Discovery

  • Use experimentation and partner pilots to validate API features and developer experiences before scaling.
  • Measure what matters: partner integration velocity, merchant attach and retention, API usage, revenue contribution, and partner NPS.
  • Continuously iterate roadmap priorities based on adoption, partner satisfaction, and ecosystem performance.

Scale and Evangelize the Partner Platform

  • Collaborate with GTM and Solution Engineering to create integration blueprints, API playbooks, and sandbox environments that reduce time-to-value for new partners.
  • Define certification standards and reference architectures for recurring vertical use cases.
  • Share insights and findings across GoDaddy Commerce to shape our long-term platform strategy for embedded commerce and payments.

Your experience should include...

  • 8+ years of product management experience in platform, API, or payments products, with deep knowledge of payments architecture and commerce primitives.
  • 2+ years of ISO 8583 financial messaging experience.
  • Proven success embedding payments/commerce into enterprise ISV and middleware platforms with measurable adoption outcomes.
  • Expert in headless and API-first product development, including API design tradeoffs, SDK usability, and developer enablement.
  • Strong client-facing skills leading discovery, solution reviews, and executive briefings with enterprise partners.
  • Track record of cross-functional influence across engineering, business development, operations, and compliance teams.

The Role

This is an opportunity to own and build a support function at a company experiencing hypergrowth in the US market. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is for someone who sees a blank slate as an opportunity. The customer base is scaling rapidly and this position will be responsible for building the support function that grows with it. The right candidate will be hands-on, close to the product and customers before building out the systems, tooling, and team capable of sustaining growth without compromising the experience



Responsibilities

  • Handle tickets and calls directly to build deep product knowledge and earn customer trust
  • Design and implement the core support ticket infrastructure: SLAs, escalation paths, and cross-functional workflows with Engineering and Product
  • Optimize the CRM/ticketing environment (automations, reporting, routing) and build out a self-serve knowledge base including FAQs and troubleshooting guides
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, translating support patterns and user feedback into actionable product insights
  • Define and track key operational KPIs and build automations to drive ongoing efficiency
  • Champion team autonomy and maintain quality standards throughout a period of significant scale



What We Need to See (Essential)

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS experience in Technical Support, Customer Support, or Operations
  • Experience in implementing modern support/ticketing platforms (e.g. Zendesk, Pylon or similar)
