We are currently seeking an experienced FDOT Project Manager to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will oversee Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) roadway and infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final completion. You will work closely with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with FDOT specifications.

Position Responsibilities
- Manage FDOT roadway and infrastructure construction projects from notice-to-proceed through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and production to maintain profitability and schedule adherence.
- Ensure all work complies with FDOT specifications, contract requirements, and safety standards.
- Review and approve subcontractor agreements, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Prepare and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and change orders.
- Maintain clear communication with FDOT representatives, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, budget, and risks.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing roadway or heavy civil construction projects, preferably FDOT work.
- Strong knowledge of FDOT specifications, standards, and documentation processes.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
