HIMARS Specialist
The HIMARS Specialist will serve as Castelion’s internal subject matter expert (SME) on HIMARS employment, operations, and tactical integration. This individual will translate firsthand operational experience into actionable guidance for engineering, manufacturing, testing, and customer engagement teams.
You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems are intuitive, survivable, rapidly employable, and aligned with how warfighters actually operate.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the internal SME on HIMARS operations, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Provide operator-informed input into system architecture, human-machine interface (HMI), mobility concepts, and reload workflows
- Advise engineering teams on real-world constraints including crew ergonomics, field maintenance, deployment timelines, and survivability considerations
- Support design reviews to ensure operational realism is embedded in system decisions
- Participate in field tests, live fire events, and mobility demonstrations to evaluate usability and mission flow
- Assist Business Development and Program teams with customer engagement, CONOPS development, and operational briefings
- Develop training concepts and documentation rooted in real operational experience
- Identify capability gaps and improvement opportunities based on firsthand system use
Basic Qualifications
- Prior experience operating the M142 HIMARS in an operational military environment
- Deep understanding of HIMARS crew operations, mission planning, reload procedures, and fire mission execution
- Experience in deployed, training, or live-fire environments
- Ability to communicate operational insights clearly to engineering and technical teams
- Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance of instruments or equipment.
- Follow SOP, Safety and GMP
- Monthly, weekly, and daily lab equipment calibration.
- Generate IQ PQ OQ for new equipment.
- Determine daily system suitability.
- Preparation of sample solution, standards, and reagents
- Preparation of lab batches at various concentrations for method validation.
- Conduct placebo batch and perform of validation on new product formula.
- Daily maintenance and troubleshooting when the system error.
- Update/Maintain System Database.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebook for traceability.
- Disposal of solvent waste follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Approve and release internal assay results
- Investigate & Report OOS to appropriated HPLC Department.
- Maintain supply inventory.
Requirements
- Degree in chemistry and any science-related field or work experience in HPLC Lab setting.
- Instrumental analysis using HPLC.
- Operating, troubleshooting, process validation, and development of the HPLC system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP, a well-established litigation defense firm, is seeking an experienced paralegal or legal assistant to work at its LA office. This job requires daily commuting to downtown LA with no remote work offered.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate of completion from a paralegal program OR significant experience handling paralegal and /or legal assistant duties at a civil litigation firm on the defense side
- Experience billing hours reflecting work
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure and court procedures, filings, service requirements;
- Familiarity with federal court rules;
- Experience scanning, coding, uploading, storing and printing documents, as well as developing and implementing databases to manage, organize, sort, index, analyze and summarize large volumes of data;
- Ability to perform legal research, conduct asset searches and basic investigation, draft and issue subpoenas, and draft, summarize and index discovery and documents;
- Experience assisting attorneys with trial/binding arbitration preparation and court attendance where necessary; and
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; NetDocuments; Summation; Concordance; and Trial Director.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year with an annual $10,000 bonus for those who meet the firm's quarterly billable hour requirement.
