Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and maintain CNC equipment used to machine large industrial components. The ideal candidate will have experience in a heavy‑industrial manufacturing environment such as material handling systems, rotating equipment, or large fabricated assemblies. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work with tight tolerances on large, complex parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, horizontal/vertical machining centers) to produce parts to specification.
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and basic program edits as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Work with large and heavy components commonly used in industrial equipment (fans, dampers, rotary feeders, shafts, housings, structural components, etc.).
- Maintain proper tooling, fixturing, and machine cleanliness.
- Troubleshoot machining issues such as dimensional errors, tool wear, chatter, and material inconsistencies.
- Follow all safety procedures for handling heavy materials, overhead cranes, forklifts, and industrial equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and fabrication teams to ensure parts meet design and performance standards.
- Document production data, inspection results, and any deviations from standard processes.
- Assist in preventive maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machinery.
Job Requirements
- 2–5+ years of CNC machining experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy‑fabrication environment.
- Experience machining steel, stainless, abrasion‑resistant plate, and other industrial‑grade materials.
- Experience with large‑format CNC machines is a strong plus.

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks & trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure vehicle safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair air braking systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair emission systems using OEM software.
- Troubleshoot and repair collision mitigation/roll stability systems using OEM Software.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with the team to complete repairs efficiently.
- Ensure that all work complies FMCSA/DOT standards.

The Engineer Technologist will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will be given survey packets of the poles they are mapping. These surveys were collected by the people out in the field. With the survey packets they will know the geographic location of the poles and the different assets (wires, boxes, etc.) attached to each pole. They will use all this information to digitally create the design \"distribution\" map.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
