Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day budget management, cost tracking, and forecasting, providing recommendations to senior leadership for approval

- Manage active construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, and cost objectives
- Independently analyze pay applications and change orders, validating scope alignment and quantities prior to recommendation for approval

This exempt position will report directly to the Technical Services Manager. This position is responsible for the supervision and performance of the electrical team; ensuring reliable operations of the existing equipment and systems while ensuring cost-effective maintenance is being performed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise, assist in planning and executing all corrective, preventive and predictive electrical maintenance tasks for the Aggregate Plant, Primary System and Quarry at the Pennsuco facility, based on engineered maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and runtime.
- Regular maintenance, inspections and evaluations of all power distribution, motor control, instrumentation, PLC & automation/control systems.
- Evaluate and implement necessary power distribution and motor control infrastructure upgrades or enhancements to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
- Must possess or obtain MSHA Surface Electrical license within 18 months.
- 5 years’ minimum experience in a mining or plant electrical leadership role required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and reasoning skills; strong supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC and CFR 30 Part 56 regulatory documents.
- Experience with power distribution systems up to 13.8 kV required, up to 230KV a plus.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance management of electrical equipment related to a large industrial facility, such as MCCs, VFDs, transformers, power lines, large AC and DC motors, DC generators, etc.
- Ability to interpret and create ladder logic diagrams, logic diagrams, process flow diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office suite and MS Project. CMMS experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of root cause analysis methodology
- Safety conscious work ethic for the protection of self and all others in the work area.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of limestone quarry operations is preferred.
- Prior heavy equipment experience in a construction or mining environment preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field; equivalent combination of technical training and work-related experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in commercial construction, design, finance and management
- 2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
- Must have large Hospital project experience
- Thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards and their impact on project activities

The Role
The Director of Field Operations oversees Brickeye’s site operations across North America, ensuring high-quality planning, installation, integration, and commissioning of Brickeye Construction Risk Mitigation Platform (CR) on complex projects.
This is a new role at Brickeye and requires deep expertise in mechanical systems (and broader MEP integration) and controls, strong field execution capability in construction sites, and the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects. This is a hands-on leadership position that supports a small but growing operations team while directly engaging with clients, contractors, and partners to drive successful deployments and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of field deployments, from project kickoff through commissioning, turnover, and decommissioning
- Review technical specifications to ensure proper integration of the Brickeye Construction Risk Mitigation Platform (CR).
- Coordinate and validate installation work related to Brickeye CR involving Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) equipment, HVAC, hydronic, and building automation/controls interfaces.
- Conduct site progress reviews and identify risks early, and implement corrective action plans.
- Manage subcontractors and technicians.

Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years experience in MEP construction or field operations with strong exposure to mechanical systems and building technology integration
- Strong background in MEP Systems including HVAC, hydronics, and plumbing, and their interface with electrical and controls systems
- Experience in commissioning, BAS integration, controls testing, and troubleshooting of building systems
- Track record managing complex or multi-site projects with significant mechanical scope
- Ability to interpret and work from mechanical/electrical drawings, schematics, submittals, and specifications

Overview
A temporary architectural design commission is being offered to one University of Miami School of Architecture graduating senior (Class of 2026) or a 2024–2026 UM graduate.
This opportunity is intended for a technically strong emerging designer who is confident in their drafting ability and ready to take ownership of production-level work.
The selected candidate will participate in the development of a privately commissioned 11.9-acre estate in Central Florida, guided by a defined architectural vision:
Old Dominion Spanish Villa with a Mid-Century reinterpretation.
You will work directly with the Owner/Developer under the mentorship of a University of Miami alumna with significant architectural and construction experience.

The Estate Program
The project includes:
- Main custom residence (approx. 3,500–4,000 SF)
- 1,200 SF ADU (multi-generational living component)
- 5-stall horse barn

Sphere Properties is hiring a high-ownership Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support both project execution and day-to-day operations. This role sits at the center of the team—keeping projects organized, timelines moving, and internal systems running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities (Project Execution)
- Maintain and manage core project trackers: RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, long-lead items, and closeout
- Coordinate meetings (OACs), prepare agendas, and send structured minutes with clear action items and follow-ups
- Drive communication with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors—tracking progress and pushing deliverables
- Support budgeting workflows: bid leveling, change order tracking, and cost documentation
- Organize all project files (SharePoint/Google Drive) with strong version control and naming structure
- Track permitting progress including submissions, comments, and approvals with municipalities
- Assist with site-level coordination: photo logs, punch tracking, and periodic site visits with PMs
Key Responsibilities (Operations & Office Support)
- Keep internal operations running smoothly: supplies, vendors, basic IT coordination, and office logistics
- Support scheduling, calendars, and travel coordination for leadership and project teams
- Build and maintain internal systems (templates, trackers, checklists, workflows) to improve efficiency
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding (accounts, access, equipment coordination)
- Support light accounting/admin tied to projects (invoice routing, W-9/COI collection, document filing)

- Project trackers are always accurate, current, and reliable
- Meetings consistently result in clear next steps with timely follow-through
- Vendors and consultants are proactively managed, minimizing delays
- Files, reports, and documentation are clean, structured, and easy to access
- Office and internal systems run efficiently without constant oversight
- PMs and leadership gain time back due to strong coordination and execution
Ideal Candidate
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, real estate, development, or operations/admin
- Highly organized and execution-focused—you close loops, not just follow up
- Strong communication skills, especially written (clear, direct, professional)
- Comfortable balancing project work and operational responsibilities
- Proficient in Google Workspace/Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools is a plus
