The Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach regular and Summer Session courses, should an opening arise. Position Snapshot/A Day in the Life: The Engineering Technician II performs routine drafting and technical engineering work in support of municipal infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include assisting with engineering design and planning, providing customer service, and performing technical office and field duties related to updating, maintaining, and analyzing the Public Works and Engineering Department's Geographic Information System (GIS) and utility infrastructure data. Engineering Technician II -This is the full journey level in the Engineering Technician series.
