Accountability:

The Cost Accountant is responsible for the compilation of cost information for products and services for a specific job or project. Key responsibilities will encompass the investigation of costs that differ from expectations, assisting in resolving those differences and preparing reports. The primary charge of this position will be to bring a higher level of operational effectiveness by streamlining and consolidating processes and systems. They will do this by investigating and analyzing current situations and recommending cost-effective solutions or improvements. In addition, they will analyze and prepare complex financial and business information, in support of various functional groups. Analyze a variety of financial documents, perform technical studies, and forecast trends impacting financial activities. Propose and introduce improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and the group's effectiveness. ACCOUNTABILITY:

About the role:

Based in the Hartford, Connecticut area, this role is responsible for increasing Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base, increasing client engagement with existing software clients, and growing the SaaS client base through new sales. This role calls on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota. The Software Account Executive conducts greater than 50% of their work outside their home office (to visit local businesses).

• Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (i.e. networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs (90%)
• Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs (10%).
